This is my second stay in Monkham. As a frequent traveler to Hat Yai for both work and leisure, i will rate this as my favorite and top choice and value for the price tag with quality and luxury services!

There was a break in this room door, which unfortunately caused a minor cut and bleeding on my finger. Aside from that, the stay was overall excellent, with beautiful and clean rooms. I still highly recommend this hotel. You can choose to pay either rm100 or 1000 baht for deposit.

Had been to Hat Yai for past 8 years and this is the most 5-stars hotel and value for that price class hotel I even stayed. Staff services are dedicated and even the security guards make sure my car parked nicely. Staff will greets whenever you meet along corridor everywhere. Room is comfortably warm with all areas considered except the TV reception is no good. I don’t watch anyway. No issues

The rooms are basic, with little amenities compared to other hotels we stayed in within Thailand. The pool is freezing, and the bar service took 30 minutes to make 2 of the same cocktail! My main meal I ordered came raw (it was meant to be cooked pork) which was not ideal. The prices were expensive and not much around it other than a 7/11. Hotel staff all nice though.

This is my third time staying in this hotel. It is comfortable and clean, helpful and friend staff. The room is big, the toilet is also big, the breakfast time and check out time is 1pm. There is a cafe and garden opposite.

Can recommend if in Hat Yai area
New modern hotel. Lovely pool and bistro. Good food. Downsides: 1)not much around the area of the hotel (stayed on a Sunday, maybe a lot closed). 2) bolster pillow on bed really didn't suit us. Haven't seen one of those for many years! Would stay again if in the area.

Hotel stay is great , except the marble floor is slippery for old folks and the location is not really good. Drivers have to u-turn few rounds to find the small lane to the hotel. There’s no food stalls no shops within the area , as it seems to be some kinda industrial area. There’s balcony to all rooms, good for smokers.

Great Hotel, a gem in Hat Yai
Great Hotel, in a good location despite not having so much to do around the local area. 7/11 across the road is handy, and a short 100baht tuk tuk tide into city centre. Probably a nicer location than stayin right in the centre, especially on this occasion as there were a lot of fireworks going off for Nine Emperor Festival.

Great place and staff great but minor issue
Really nice place and service is great. I would just say a minor point that happened as we checked out, the "please make up the room" sign was missing and took 15 minutes to resolve. Questions as to where was it I thought were fairly irrelevant considering the item in question. Just left a slightly soar taste as we were delayed checking out whilst this was sorted. Other than that, staff were amazing!

I didn't like it when it was stated inside expedia that kids up to 11years old, they stay for free. However, when I reached at the registration counter, they charge me for 2 of my relative kids that is 7 and 9 years old; a fee of thb150 per kid per day. The staff at the counter says that it is to pay for the usage facilities and breakfast for the kids. It would be good if they actually state that in the terms / when we book the hotel up front. This is just cheating the customer money and day light robbing.

Overall experience was good. We love everything there except breakfast, the food was bland, so we decided to skip the second day breakfast and find something else outside the hotel to eat, even though it is already included in our room rate. The male staff at the pool bar could be more friendly but all other staffs are nice and informative. The location is convenient, street food, pharmacy, and mini mart is just behind the hotel. Parking is spacious and available at all times. Definitely, go back again for my next visit to Hat Yai.

Hotel is quite new and hence clean and well-maintained. Rooms are beautifully appointed and the shower area is ingeniously designed. It even comes with Grohe rain showers, further enhancing our stay. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Hotel was an easy and affordable Grab ride of around 10 to 20 mins to most attractions. Only con we found was the variety of breakfast spread, which was rather lacklustre, thus we skipped it to find external alternatives.

A very new hotel, many TukTuk and Van driver don't know about them yet. Wave & Grab only detected address without showing hotel name, but Grab driver can always find us by follow map, so it's not a matter. Everything look as beautiful as the photos, super-duper clean, and smells fragrant everywhere. All receptionist are very polite and helpful in every way. (Sorry for teasing Ayvii a lot, she's just too cute) Hotel location is excellent, convenience and centralized. 2 minutes walk to 7-11 (through hotel parking) 2 minutes walk to Bar (don't know their english name but looks good) 6 minutes walk to Local Edition Bar 7 minutes walk to Sitthara Spa 19 minutes walk to Post Laser Disc Pub & Restaurant (it's neighbour of Lee Garden & Odean shopping mall) Driving to Central Festival Mall, Greenway Night Market, Eighteen Nineteen are not too far also. (Walking distance within 30 minutes, if you don't mind to walk) Although this hotel is also super near to the famous Kiss Channel Pub, which only 4 minutes walking distance, but i'm not recommend to go there. Kiss Channel only suitable for tourist uncle aunty, charges is high and it has nothing different but a 'Thai Disco' in Malaysia. The swimming pool with little bar in the water is to die for! I miss my pool side breakfast a lot. Can't recommend highly enough for this hotel. Me and friends will definitely visit this hotel again if we ever come to Hat Yai. Thanks for the excellent hospitality experience to us!

The hotel is a beautiful hotel new with a good pool. But still a work in in progress in training and other half of the hotel is still under construction. The hotel didn't have a gym yet a big downer. The service and staff was kind, helpful, and good. The location was close enough the the center of Hat Yai. But I had some issues. First is that when I booked the room it is written the checkout was 2pm. But the staff told my wife if was 1pm when it was about 1:30pm already. It made her look bad. And they don't have scale to measure weight of luggage. But at the price point that I paid I would expect so. I booked the room with pool access which was awesome. For now this hotel still have to work many things out. For the price now. I can't recommend for now. Maybe when the hotel is finished construction and many things worked out I might come back. I will keep a eye out on my next trip.
