"Upon arrival to check in, I was told they upgraded me to a double queen room my original reservation was for a king room. I do not understand how a double queen is an Upgrade New. There were kids there with their families that had gotten the elevator floor wet with their feet from the pool mixed in with the natural dirt from the earth floor. The carpet in the aisle, walking down to my room was all pulled up and ruffled like you were walking on a wave of water. Literally, the carpet was in waves. There were stains on the carpet in my room. I really expected to feel more at home in a clean pristine environment at a Windham hotel. With my new job, I will be making occasional visits to Hattiesburg Mississippi, but rest assured I will be trying a better hotel. On a positive note, the air worked great. My room was really cool. The hairdryer was a plus the refrigerator and microwave was a plus and worked very well. The bed was very comfortable sheets and linen was very clean and the TV was a smart TV and worked well."

"Door was falling off hinges and would barely close. Bathroom had hair everywhere. Remote had crumbs all over it. Hand prints and smudges were everywhere. Hallway doesn’t have air and has an odor along with elevator. Ice machine on floor doesn’t work. Pool was closed."

"The room was so moist. When we walked into the room it smelled like moisture and mildew. Everything cloth felt damp and clammy; especially the bed. Breathing in was like breathing in wet mildew, I don’t really know how else to explain it. It’s like the AC unit wasn’t pulling moisture out properly. With the AC off the smell was overpowering to the point of gagging. Room appeared clean but trash cans hadn’t been emptied and there was someone else’s floss in one of them and a used bandaid in another. Staff was 10/10"

"I stayed at this property on May 28 through May 31 I can say I have stayed at better hotels. I definitely was not impressed with this one the room was worn down, not updated not only did, I have problems with my room key getting in my room twice, card had to be re run in there computer but the maid never returned back to our room to give us fresh towels. after we told the guy at the front desk that we were leaving for the day and the maid could come back to clean our room and give us fresh towels, but no, we had to actually ask for them. That’s a disappointment to me and not very good customer service. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this hotel. Thank you"

"The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast could have been a little better with more options, but overall it was a nice 2-day getaway. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again."
