“Stunning sea views”

My husband and I had a lovely stay in this hotel. We had the most beautiful sea view from our window. We did long walks along the shoreline to the islands nearby and around the bay. We look the tram to the centre which was fun and only took 15 minutes. It takes you right to the centre, to the shops, market square etc. The service was good all round and the reception staff in particular very helpful indeed. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We had dinner in the restaurant overlooking the sea, watching the sun set. My husband had the most delicious reindeer. My choice of smoked fish salad was disappointing. I would expect to have a free use of wifi internet in any hotel nowadays - Hilton charge €10. You may be interested to know that the water in bathrooms in Finland is drinking water. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay in Kalastajatorppa.

“Very calming stay”

Sure, its not a brand new hotel, and its a bit out of the way for central Helsinki, but you come away feeling so relaxed. Staff are very good, restaurant was excellent (even has reindeer), and its in a nice location with beautiful surrounds. And for the price its an excellent choice.

“World-class hotel”

Outstanding in every way. you can't go wrong staying here. Especially for the business traveler. 24 hour room service (okay limited menu for late-night, but at least it's something). Stay here -- you won't be disappointed.

Everything was just perfect. The surroundings of the hotel were absolutely beautiful. Nice scenery to the sea from the room. We got a late check out without any extra cost. The hotel staff was very helpful.

“A taste of scandinavian style”

I loved it. Modern and slick with good food and service. Quiet location on the Bay was a 20min tram commute but frequent and worth it.

“The place to stay in Helsinki”

The Hilton Helsinki Kalastajatorppa is one of Hilton's 50+ resorts. It is located on a magnificent lake not far away from downtown Helsinki. The tram system is so efficient that one would be crazy to stay in town when when could stay at this hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. The package Expedia offered for such a luxury hotel was a very, very good one.

“Beautfiul setting”

Our room enjoyed a beautiful view and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is very close to the tram stop for the 4 and 4T trams which take you right into the heart of the city.
