“Very comfortable stay”
Lovely hotel a short walk from Market Square. Comfortable beds, very clean and spacious. Amazing buffet breakfast with Finnish delicacies as well as the usual bacon & eggs etc . Wifi included! Would definitely stay there again!
“love to go back !”
A clock is very necessary in the room ! I didNOt see one !!
“Can't wait to go back!”
Brilliant hotel, facilities were excellent. The room was a great size. I would recommend it to anyone!
“Good choice while in Helsinki”
Overall very nice. Great breakfast. Good gym 24h. Nice sauna. Free use of microwave near lobby cafe. Three free-to-use PCs in the lobby with printers. Nice play area for kids in the restaurant entarance. Good size room (we had Family Room with 1 Qn bed and pullout Qn sofa) Easy access via #4 tram (about 10 min from center) or by foot, especially in the summer, (about 20 min) Beautiful location by harbour, ferries, marketplace. Two thumbs up from all of us!
“Convenient to Ferry and Market Square”
This hotel caters to business customers but is great for tourists as well. If you are using Viking Line ferries to Stockholm or Tallinn, the terminal is across the street. The central Market Square and Senate Square is less than a 10 minute walk. The hotel restaurant is reasonable and prepares good food. The breakfast is predictable Scandanavian fare but ample. The rooms featue free WiFi and are comfortable. My only observation is that there is no way to adjust the temperature of the room. Overall an excellent hotel if a little pricey.
“Didn't expect it to be so good!”
Absolutely impressed with the hotel, didn't expect it to be that good. Loved the free bicycles and the environment of the bar/lounge area. Great breakfast! Would have loved to use the gym and sauna if I had another day or so in Helsinki.
“I may be biased but I loved the location”
I am from Helsinki originally but I have lived in UK for 34 years and for the first time was going to Helsinki by myself and staying in a hotel. I loved to be so near the sea and to see all cruise ships, the market etc. Visiting in August I saw the Helsinki Marathon which I would recommend to any runners (I run it in 1987 in 3.59.57). I would also recommed this hotel for its location for anyone visiting Helsinki as a tourist, although I am still to go there at the winter time which will be later this year.
“The service was first-rate”
As a bleary-eyed traveler, I was pleasantly surprised when the desk manager offered not only to check on ferry times for me, but to go ahead and book me a seat! It's always nice to be surprised with exemplary customer service when one is far from home...
“Very Good”
We rated this hotel highly. We go on a large number of trips and this is certainly in the top 10% of hotels that we have stayed in, Rooms were large (we had an end room which looked bigger than the standards) and there's the carbon neutral factor as well. Free Wifi too, Breakfast was the same choice for the 3 days we were there, but was good. We took a tram from the train station, (where the airport bus picks up and drops off) which appeared the best option when arriving at 10pm, although the walk is pretty easy once you get your bearings, with the hotel situated only 5 mins from the main harbour . esplanade. Location was very good.
“We can understand why this hotel is so busy. A very good value!”
The staff was helpful but you have to understand the Finnish. If you ask them they will answer your question directly with excellent information. The staff were fluent in English.
