Outdated, didn't show the property actual photos. 70's decor never been updated. Unit not cleaned to a normal standard, no clear instructions on property pool, bbq usage, if the unit was updated and maintained properly maybe the stay could of been better. Will not return.

Sorry for your experience. We have been here for ten years and you are the first person to complain. We have many guests asking for that unit. It is the last of the Honeymoon chalet suites very beautiful . Unit is cleaned to 4 star standard . Regards to pool and BBQ, instructions are in the compendium in the unit on first page. Instructions for BBQ's how to use are also written above BBQ's. Times for pool on fence besides entry gate.

Great place to stay. Property is clean and presentable with plenty of space. Includes full kitchen and washer and dryer which is very convenient .Large pool was awesome. Close to shops and a short drive to main esplanade. Would highly recommended .

Checking In was fantastic, But the toilet down stairs did not flush, the lounges definitely did not get cleaned as there was dirty underwear in the lounges which as you reclined them they were right there. Probably won’t stay there again because of this.

We had a lovely stay at Bay Hideaway Resort. Really good position . Shopping facilities right across the road. Great position for everywhere we wanted to explore. Proprietors were absolutely lovely and so helpful when we wanted to book tours . Very clean , comfortable and Quiet . Next time we visit Hervey Bay we will definitely book into Bay Hideaway Resort again

Unit reeked of cigarette smoke. Was completely overwhelming. Door's dont all lock properly so they use chains. Power outlets hanging an inch from the wall, kitchen crockery, glasses cups and untensils were filthy.

A lovely place for my family to stay with a shopping center across the road which was a huge convenience for us. Would definitely recommend staying here and the pricing was reasonable.

We like the location near to the shop and the house was clean and nice. Unfortunately, we don't like the air conditioning in the main bedroom was extremely noisy, we can't sleep the 3 nights over there, if we turned off the fan doesn't work in a medium position, only low and high (if we choose low the fan don't do anything with this terrible weather condition) and if we choose fast that was also super noisy and made the curtains move all the time and made another noise extra in the room. It was not pleasant to sleep in this place and more when you are trying to relax.

The unit we stayed in was ok. Aircon in main bedroom doesn’t work. Massive crack in wall of second bedroom. Units need a lot of maintenance

Pretty basic for 4 star accommodation. The location was ok, close to shops but about 15 minute drive to the beach and bay area. The accommodation looked tired, old and rundown. The info directory said the unit would be cleaned and fresh towels at least once during our 5 night stay, but that didn’t happen. Overall a bit disappointing.

The property was perfect and met all of our needs as a family of 5 adults The only poor thing was I was unable to communicate with the owners unless I called them. Face to face communication is key in my book

Very good service. Room was large but very outdated. Lots of small things needing attention such as aircon and cupboard doors. Had to take battery out of smoke alarm as it started beeping late at night. Manager was very attentive throughout our short stay.
