"The Lakefront Anchorage is situated conveniently close to the airport and downtown Anchorage. The hotel has lots of old world charm with modern amenities. The thing that surprised me the most was that the hotel is huge, like really big. I'm pretty sure that the walk from the registration counter to our room was a 1/4 mile. The staff were friendly but understaffed for the number of customers this hotel serves. Would I stay here again, maybe, maybe not."

"Trepidatious at first, looks like the kind of place that could go very wrong, but everything was very clean and comfortable. Good pillows even, which is something places 4 times as costly haven't been able to figure out. Even the toilet paper wasn't the cheapest available stuff you would expect. Room is small but adequate. Only problem was it was very hot in there, but that was addressed immediately. Didn't use the communal kitchen, but looked clean and functional enough even if the refigerizer...

"Jewel Lake B&B is a quaint place and was perfect for our 1-night stay. The bus stop is right in front and provided cheap transportation to the airport. The breakfast options were a little limited - individually packaged boiled eggs, raw eggs which you could cook, coffee & tea options, some fruit, and granola bars. We didn't mind because it was significantly cheaper than getting a hotel in the airport area, even after taking an Uber to get breakfast at a diner. We did have to go a few miles away...
