Used to be good. Now it’s fallen from grace. They removed the kitchens and microwaves. The front desk staff are very rude. Don’t even provide water to you anymore.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the absence of cooking facilities in the room although they are subject to availabilities upon request. We understand that this may have been an important feature for you and we have already updated this in your profile for appropriate room arrangement for the future stay. As for the experience with our front desk staff, we have addressed this directly with the concerned staff regarding the issue you have mentioned during your stay and ensure that courteous and professional service is provided to all guests. We have provided the Philips Water Dispenser in each hotel rooms for fresh drinking water instead of plastic bottled water in order to comply with the new regulation on Disposable Plastic Products starts on April 22, 2024 and set a best practice of environmental protection. The room rate we paid for a twenty one day stay through Expedia was nearly double what some other guests were paying. Though advertised (and experienced through a previous stay) as having a kitchenette with cooking utensils and facilities we were checked into a room with only a microwave and a Nespresso machine - not even an electric kettle. After recognising the error, front desk staff were very helpful and arranged for a stove top to be installed. Staff were most courteous and helpful throughout our stay.

Enjoyed a delightful experience at The Jervoise. The front desk team was welcoming and supportive. The room, exceeding Hong Kong standards in spaciousness, impressed us. A special Christmas Eve surprise gift from the hotel added a memorable touch. Will certainly choose to stay here again.

The 2 bedroom suite is spacious and clean. However, the TV is a bit old and cannot connect to local TV station at first. The staff is friendly and helpful.

There was a communication problem regarding some arrangements. Also there is a faulty closet lamp which wouldn’t turn off all night and the shower door wouldn’t close shut.

One MTR station away from Central
Great location, 4 minutes walk to the MTR. Nice Frette towel and bed linen. MALIN + GOETZ products. It is spacious for Hong Kong standard. I would suggest higher floors for better views. Good value for money.

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel. The condition of the hotel is more or less the same. it is an enjoyable stay, convenient, clean, and cozy feel to it. Unfortunately I had a problem with the staff who checked me in. I am Asian and I speak English, I made it clear to him that I spoke English, but he continued to talk to me in Cantonese. He handed me some paperwork which had English written so I can read it while he was explaining it to me in Cantonese. Standard procedure stuff that I can more or less figure out what was going on. But it felt like the staff did not have much training himself because he was trying to read the thing with me. At first I thought he just could not speak English, but that was not the case as later in the day I saw him spoke English to a White person. So I just hope that The Jervois looks into this matter and maybe improve their training so that other people do not get the same treatment as I did.

The room is huge by Hong Kong standards. Very nice and modern. It would have been better if they told us the hairdryer was behind the toilet mirror and that there is a sliding door separating the bedroom and living room. We only discovered on day 2 after I had spent the night doing my work in the kitchen. My partner can't sleep if there is the slightest hint of light.

fantastic location
Great location with a mix of old traditional food faves and hipster coffee joints at the doorstep. Lots of privacy. Free shuttle from Central takes you right to the hotel. Only thing is the air conditioning in the room is really strong no matter how you try to adjust it. We had to turn off both units one of the nights.
