Good location, helpful staff.
Affordable hotel at a cute little street in the Sultanahment area. Walking distance to Blue Mosque / Hagia Sophia. Friendly staff. Azamatjon is very helpful.

Very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were a joy, different eggs, cheeses, fruits and jams. As well as different hot drinks. They will arrange airport transfers for one

The could do better.
The didn’t clean the shower daily or change the sheets our entire 10 day stay. The bed was made everyday and we received fresh towels but cleaning was not done.

- Отель нуждается в ремонте. Все еле держится и выглядит в плачевном состоянии. Всю ночь не покидало ощущение, что спишь на несвежей постели. (Напоминало советское влажное белье в поездах, которое специально так "освежали" проводники при вторичной продаже) Завтрак скудный, а салат никто не ест. Вид у него еще тот. Видимо с прошлого или позапрошлого утра. Тип для повара-не делать "салат", а просто крупно порезать овощи и разложить в разные тарелки. Каждый выберет себе, что хочет + месторасположение

Уважаемые гости Не знаем что вас так разозлило. Но имейте введу что у нас. самый хороший завтрак с большим выбором в этом територии. Больше выбора чем стандартная завтрак Швецкий Стол. И про цены наш отель евляется самым лучшем отелым в этом районе у которого рейтинг и цена хорошая в сравнения отели этого типа. Но всё равно спасибо за выбор нашего отеля. Приятно было с вами познокомится. С уважением Азамат и персонал отеля.

Great location and great value for money
Staff were great, gave us a map of the area and recommended where to go. Arranged our transfer from the airport and book in advance by messaging the hotel online. Location is brilliant, everything (blue mosque, Sofia haghia, food places, money exchange) all within walking distance. As we were leaving the hotel staff gifted us all four of us Indo isl boxes of Turkish delight. Definitely worth the stay.

was very happy with the hotel and service I got I came for a hair transplant opartion in Istanbul and this hotel is located a 2 minute walk to the blue mosque, the hotel owner is very very helpfull I will definitely be staying here agian in 6 week time when I'm back in turkey

excellent location
Oceans 7 hotel is really close to main attractions and situated in a very pleasant area so felt safe at all times. The hotel manager and staff were very approachable and happy to help in any way. The hotel was clean and breakfast plentiful and we especially liked the coffee-hot choc machine which was available 24/7 at no cost, but best of all was the roof terrace where the buffet breakfast was laid out. All in all we had a lovely holiday and would happily book this hotel when next we visit Istanbul (and we are pretty sure we will!)

Very welcoming host from the get go. Full of great information about the city and offered to help set up tours, buses, and further hotels bookings (without too much pressure which was key for me). The hostess booked a bospherous cruise for me and it was fantastic! The hotel was a bit difficult to find as its address and location as it appears on google maps is a bit off. :( The buffet breakfast was amazing! ....you do have to walk up 4 flights to get it though as there is no elevator.

Hotel was very convenient, as walking distance to Hippodrome, Shopping Bazaars and Restaurants. We had a comfortable stay. 2 things need to upgrade, breakfast not upto the mark and they should install a Lift as we had to use the Staircase to go up and down with our luggage.

I will never come again to this hotel
The only good thing that they provide two way transfer from and to the airport, actually this was not a matter for me,, I have come to istanbul three times this was the worst hotel, first they take the whole amount of money on checkin, this was not mentioned in the reservation conditions,, this gave me a bad impression on the hotel, the stairs small and curvy no left dark bad illumination,, the bath room very small, room cleaning poor linen was not clean, u itch once u sleep in bed, we buy our own linen to solve the problem, smell of mold every where in the room they put air refreshing to cover the mold smell, one day when we where alone at the hotel no other guests, they cut the water from the morning tell the night , they said it happens in sultanahmad area, when we ask neighbours all said that this was not true it must be a hotel problem, when a new guest come they return water back,! the woman on breakfast staring and crude, breakfast poor, dishes dirty,, far from tram station u have to climb a good distance. TV not working probably, AC not working.

Decent, lively & affordable hotel
Me and my friend stayed at Oceans 7 during our first Turkey visit ever last week i.e.march 13 & 14, 2015.And no doubt it was one of the best reasonable hotel we encountered during our whole Turkey visit. Each and everything was taken care of without any complaint. Staffs were always ready to help with anything. Meneksha & Abdullah were so soft spoken,energetic & supportive. Breakfast & the breakfast host Armenian lady(forgot to ask her name) was nice too. All the famous tourist attractions were at walking distance, so saved quite a few bucks of travelling.Got the chance to meet the owner Mr. Hamza and family. Very nice couple with cutie angel Zainab. Left with some lovely memories with a plan to visit Istanbul again and staying at the same place for longer time.

Amazing Trip
Me and my sister had a wonderful time in Istanbul. Partly due to the fact that we loved Ocean 7. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is very conveniently located from the Blue mosque, Topkapi palace and Hagia Sophia. It was safe to walk around late night. The breakfast on the roof was very good too.

Rooms somwwhat cramped but overall quite satisfactory. Very close to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi, etc. We were four flights up without a lift. Staff striving to be helpful but not fluent in English. Watch out for taxi dishonesty in Istanbul!

An amazing holiday!
My wife and I visited Istanbul for the very first time. We stayed at Oceans 7 Hotel located in a beautiful area. From our arrival at the hotel to the very last day of our trip the hotel Manager and his staff were very professional , courteous, friendly and showed us amazing hospitality throughout our stay. All the hotel staff made us were very friendly and we felt safe at all times in the hotel. Our room was nice and had all the amenities for our stay. The roof terrace location and breakfast was wonderful and the breakfast bar was delicious each morning. We recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Istanbul and take this opportunity to thank all the Management and staff at Oceans 7 for making our vacation so memorable. Just returned from a fantastic vacation in Istanbul, made all the better by our stay at Hotel Oceans 7. The location is fantastic - a five minute walk to the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque, ten minutes to the Topkapi palace, and 15-20 minute walk to the spice bazaar/waterfront and the grand bazaar. We took advantage of the great location by getting to these attractions early to beat the crowds. The hotel offers daily breakfast, that includes different meats, cheeses, breads, and fruit, along with coffee, tea, and juice. It's served on the fourth floor terrace, which has a terrific view of the Bosphorous as well as the Blue Mosque. The room was equipped with plenty of storage and outlets, and also had a refrigerator and very effective AC system. The manager - Erdal - was also terrific. Upon arrival, he gave us a map and pointed out the location of various attractions, offering help with transportation during our stay and to the airport. We had a late flight and wanted to take advantage of our last day (checkout is at 11am), so they kept our bags for us while we explored and offered us cold water when we got back (that day was a bit hot). I actually realized I forgot clothing at the hotel when I returned to the States, and Erdal responded to my email quickly, making arrangements to ship me my items. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely use it again on a future trip.

A great boutique hotel in a convenient location, close to many of the attractions in the old city. Try get a room on a lower floor if you have lots of luggage as there are no elevators, in any event, the staff are very helpful if you need a hand. The rooms are a little on the small side but clean. The best thing about this hotel are the terrace views of the Bosporus and Sultan Ahmet mosque, especially at night. Restaurants are a bit pricey compared to other areas as it's in a touristy part of town, having said that it's still cheap by AU standards I.e. Mains are between 25-40TL (AU$12-20). This hotel is hard to beat for value.

We had a family room which suppose to have four beds. It does have beds for four people one double twin single beds. But the quality of one small bed is not comparable to the others. Not that their normal bed are such high quality, it is expected for hotel that claims only two star. However the fourth bed is like a rollaway bed or worse, even my son is complaning. The bathroom is so small i bump my head everytime i used the sink. The location is great. I think i will probably be better off book two rooms in stead of one family room since it costs the same. Breakfast is ok but food seems limited, if you go late, you will not have any eggs. It seems like they only supply certain amount for that day, not refilling their tray based on the need. BWT, even the bedding on the small bed is different, it just had a bedspread no real comforter. This hotel needs to understand that people who book their 4 person room are actually going to use all FOUR beds. Since we are paying for the extra beds, we do expect them to be the same quality.

The staff were very friendly & answered all our questions. We would come back to this hotel for sure! The only thing that was a bit of, was that the breakfast was the same each morning. During our entire family vacation - middle-aged parents with 2 teen kids - we felt more like hotel "guests" than "customers". Ali proactively mapped the key tourist sights (all walking distance) & explained best routes, times etc. Rooms were comfy, sight of Blue Mosque from window was breathtaking, & breakfast was more than adequate.

Comfortable with fantastic location & service
Typical small hotel but with exceptional service in prime location on quiet street. Rooftop breakfast was good with views of Bosphorus and Blue Mosque; perfect start to the day. Owner/manager very attentive and provided valuable information regarding our travel plans in Turkey and even helped us with bus tickets and provided transfer to bus terminal. We are going to stay here again!
