"This hotel is excellent! I had a large and comfortable room. The staff is kind and responsive, with the added benefit of allowing me to check in at 4am after a grueling overnight bus ride from Yangon. The breakfast was excellent as well. I will note that hotel.com says the hotel is 8+ miles from City center. This is not correct. It is about a mile, it a 15-20 min walk."

"We stayed there after the walk from Inle Lake before we travelled on. We could wash our shoes in the backyard which was necessairy! The Lady at the reception is very friendly. For one night it is ok, but there us not much to do in Kalaw."

"Good enough place to stay a night or two in Kalaw. For the price, it's a good value. Breakfast is okay, staff are quite nice, and the whole place has a cool, rustic feel to it. Bathroom could use a little updating but it's fine."
