"Staff and property are perfect for the area. The room was clean with a well equipped kitchen. The resort is a bit secluded from the already small secluded town of Hanalei. They do offer a shuttle service into town and back if needed. We loved our experience there and would stay at the resort again. "

"Stayed one night between timeshares. We have done this before. This time we were upgraded to a kitchenette which was newly renovated. One of the buildings is currently undergoing renovations which were much needed as we have stayed there before. KSH has an excellent location on the beach and the Lava Lava restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. Sadly, the prices have soared in the last couple of years. Still a go to place for us on Kauai."

"Very helpful staff at every step, both our early check in and letting us swim in the pool past quiet time into the 9 o'clock hour. Everyone so nice and welcoming. I very much appreciated the single night booking, when many others needed 2 or 3 night minimums. The included breakfast was a nice plus. All was well with the room. We'll be back on our next trip to Kauai, which will no doubt be longer."

"Booked this trip many months ago. The resort is currently being renovated and a the main restaurant is closed. Our room had been refurbished and was very nice. The pool is huge, however, sections of it were closed due to the construction. Rooms were serviced every other day. Towels and coffee etc. needed to be requested. Paper cups were supplied for coffee, but no drink glasses or wine glasses. The resort is a beautiful spot and would like to come back sometime and hopefully when the work is...
