Beautiful setting with balcony views of the water. Very clean. Staff attentive. For me, being older, there are many stairs and mostly no handrails. For safety reasons I wish they had handrails. .

We enjoyed our stay @ Saravon Hotel, Kep, Cambodia. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Rooms are clean, the beds comfortable & air conditioning works well. A wonderful breakfast was included daily. All rooms have a balcony with a beautiful ocean view. There is a pool on site. Walking distance to the Crab Market. Easy to get transportation if required. The restaurant has amazing food - something for everyone. We will stay there again!!

Excellent location
The location of this hotel was perfect. It is located right across the road from Kep Beach, which is as close as an hotel can get, and since the hotel is accessed by a short set of stairs, every room has a fantastic view of the water. The village around the hotel is a bustling place with many restaurants and small shops and it has a wonderful vibrant feel. The crab market is a nice walk or a very short tuk tuk ride away. The hotel itself is definitely dated and in need of upgrades. However, this did not detract from our stay here due to the location. There was plenty of hot water, the air conditioner worked well and the restaurant had excellent food. And the staff were very friendly. I would come back here for certain!

Great location and I think all the rooms have balcony’s and are on the water. Easy elk to Crab Market and pool overlooks the sea . As with most places in Cambodia no where to refill my reusable water bottle so left many refillable plastic bottles behind. Hope they fix this issue.

The staff were all very welcoming. Horn at front desk, David, Pheara and Mourn in dining room. They all went out of their way to be kind and friendly and watch out for us. David's English was excellent. Also Horn's. Food in dining room was excellent and reasonably priced with excellent service: breakfast, lunch and dinner. The chicken fried rice was fantastic. Good value for accommodation. Location the best. 2 seconds to the lovely beach. Laundry for $2.00 per kg around the corner: a 1 minute walk. EXCELLENT pharmacy VERY close by. Go swimming in the Gulf of Thailand. All amazing.

On arrival staff non engaging. Room very dissapointing and in need of update, bathroom in particular. No hot water for two of our 4 nights. Remote control for a TV but no TV just wiring hanging out of wall (ugly/ dangerous). Fridge did not work. No room safe. Had to request hand towels and hand washers. Breafast was adequate. However bar service was appauling no matter how many times asked drinks served warm and flat. Was not rectified on second night, bad service.

Stayed here with my wife and 2 year old son for a beach holiday and and it was a really enjoyable stay. The staff were great and very friendly and the location was perfect with it being right on the beach. Will definitely stay there again.

Not really worth the price
I stayed there two night, hot water didn’t come out from shower on the first day. Shower room has black mold, the condition could be improved although the facility is located in high humid area. Seaside view was ok, but outside was noisy as people having parties.

The hotel is right across the road from Keo beach. The views are great and the swimming pool, while small, is very nice. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is fantastic. My go to hotel in Keo.

The hotel is set right across from the beach. The rooms are spacious although the beds are hard. The staff are absolutely fantastic, helpful and caring. Cannot say enough good about the staff they are what makes me want to return again and again.

The staff were excellent - very helpful and knowledgeable. Loved the beds and the shower. Our room had a big balcony with a sea view which we used a lot. The pool was lovely! Thanks Richard and Mr. Ro (sp?) for making our stay and enjoyable one!!

You'll love the view!
This was our favorite hotel after two weeks of travel in Cambodia! The room was a great size and the view of the sea was beautiful!! The service was good and the hotel staff was very friendly. We had an issue with the water not working one day but they fixed it for us! We thought the location was perfect, right on the beach, a 15 minute walk from excellent food right on the water, and near the bus stop. We absolutely would stay here again!

Wonderful stay!
Spent 3 nights here on our way to Vietnam and absolutely loved it! Had amazing view of the beach, pool was great and staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with great A/C, wifi and TV. Located near the Kep National Park (ask staff, you can access it two mins walk away!) and the beach is just accross the street, with a few restaurants next door. There's also a coffee shop next to the hotel which sells delicious coffee (a bit more expensive then usual for this country but worth it for the convenience :) Would absolutely recommend for a few nights' stay!

We had a fabulous stay here. Right across from the beach. The staff can't do enough to help. We loved it so much we went back. Great for families. Good rooms, gorgeous views. The restaurant attached serves great food for all. A lovely tuk tuk man took us around arranged by hotel. A wonderful stay . Highly reccomend it .

Be very wary.
For the first time in my long and active travelling life, I actually refused a room. However I did have a booking; I did turn up on the day of booking; the behaviour of the reception staff was less than acceptable and I was shown a room that did not meet my standards, which I might state are not particularly high, given that I tend to book at unstarred hotels in the budget range. So I did not actually stay at this hotel and cannot really rate its comfort but given that service, cleanliness and condition were the reasons I refused the room, I can legitimately rate them. I have reviewed this hotel on another site. Not surprisingly since I gave them only one star, I received an angry response from the management. Unfortunately it was also a little less than truthful and he/she blamed me or this booking site for all of the issues I raised. For example, he/she suggested I lied about the price - I didn't; we were talking about different dollars. Further, among a number of other claims, he/she said this booking site states the room I booked has no sea view, but I have just rechecked that twice and it doesn't mention the view. Anyway suffice to say, it wasn't a great experience So I can't recommend the hotel but I can recommend Hotels.com / Expedia. I did report my experience to this site and they have treated me very well over this episode. Thank you.

Stylish hotel at Kep beach.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Saravoan. We loved the hotel, especially the décor, the view and the location. Staff were helpful and breakfast was good. They serve Italian coffee but we always ordered the Cambodian coffee which is really good. Manager Richard was friendly and helpful. There was a small hiccup when we arrived but it was sorted out to our satisfaction. Pool was small but there are never many people in it. Recommended.

Decent enough hotel by the beach
We stayed at the Saravoan during our recent trip to Cambodia. Its location was perfect, right by the beach in Kep and walking distance from restaurants. Staff was friendly and welcoming and the hotel clean and functional, if a bit minimalist in terms of the rooms. The pool was reasonably sized and clean. The hotel overlooks the beach and is very close to local shops and restaurants and walking distance (or 5 minute tuk tuk ride when dark) from the crab market. The bus from Phnom Penh stops 200 metres from hotel (so no need for a tuk tuk....). We also visited Kampot and were glad we stayed in Kep instead.
