"This hotel was amazing. We had a slight check in snafu that was dealt with quickly, and the woman at the front desk was incredibly gracious and helpful the whole time we were there. We loved the ambiance of the hotel and our awesome suite felt like a Victorian apartment. Housekeeping was wonderful too. Great pool surrounded by lush garden, rental bikes, private porch for sitting. The amenities and grounds were incredible. Everything in Key West is expensive so we thought this was a great value...

The only thing I didn’t love was the shared door between the suites and the studio. They need more soundproofing. If you rented the whole cottage for a family it would be fine, but you can hear everything your suite mates say. "The Speakeasy Inn is in a good location on Duval Street, although it is many blocks from the area around Mallory Square... it is closer to the Southernmost Point buoy and Hemmingway House. The hotel staff was great ( especially Nicole) so checkin was a breeze. The bar staff seemed indifferent and the drinks were good but high-priced, but since you could hang out on the porch and have a front-row seat to Duval St. it was worth it. The room we had was on ground level so it was nice to go in/out...
