One of the two overhead beside lamps sadly didn't work but weirder - the duvet cover didn't close, like there were no buttons - so it kept getting caught up and I took it off, thinking it was a sheet, only to have to put it back on. "It’s a great hotel, clean, well maintained with efficient and personable staff. It’s just a 5 minute walk from the airport which is very convenient. Unfortunately their free airport shuttle was not working on the day we landed and since we were in our 60s and 70s, had 2 bags each and there are many steps up to get to the hotel, we had to take a 3 minute cab ride to the hotel."

"We enjoyed our one night at the Imperial while traveling through Cork! Although the hotel itself is older, it's maintained well and the room itself was gorgeous. We liked how close it was to tons of dining and shopping options -- so once we parked the car, we just walked everywhere. Went to a sushi place for dinner and walked to the English Market in the morning for breakfast before heading off to Blarney Castle (only 25 mins away)."
