10/10 stay. I can’t express how amazing this place is. From the most friendly staff I have ever come across. The food and drinks are fairly priced and taste so good. Right around the corner, they have a family based restaurant, they too are so attentive and very friendly. Highly recommend staying here. I promise you won’t regret it. 😻

Another fantastic stay at the Baan Haad, they are constantly renovating the resort and its rooms so everything always looks so fresh and modern when we come each year. The staff are fabulous and the restaurant is lovely. For us, there’s no reason to look at anywhere else to stay in Samui.

Check-in was very smooth, the staff were kind and attentive which made our arrival pleasant. We had two adjoining rooms on the top floor, which was a great location for one night before an early morning flight. However, there were some issues with the opening of the doors between the two rooms but eventually it was solved and we were given keys to our respective sides. The room was mostly very clean and nice. Balcony doors did not close properly (gaps between doors) but locked so it was ok. For a longer term stay it could’ve been a tad annoying. Beds were clean and comfortable albeit a bit too soft for my liking but this could’ve been solved by asking for the mattress topper to be removed - I am certain that it wouldn’t have been a problem at all. Plenty of towels, appropriate amenities and sufficient amount of water was provided. The only small criticisms about the room were a pair of dirty socks underneath the bathroom sink in a corner, perhaps not noticed when cleaning, and that between the doors that connect the two rooms had not been cleaned in a long time resulting to quite a bit of dust. I found the room a bit noisy in the evening as people walking around were talking loud but this wasn’t a problem at night. Previously I stayed in one of the villas and that was very quiet. Overall, pleasant and refreshing stay with smooth ride to airport. Would return.

We stayed 5 nights in the beach front villa. It was superb experience in every aspect. Room was newly renovated and very clean few steps from the main pool and the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Great hotel in quiet location
Overall the 11 day stay here was excellent. The rooms were large , clean with great bathroom facilities and a good aircon system. Staff were very friendly dnd helpfull although room service was a bit hit and miss at times. Only ate in the restaurant at lunch but have to say the food was very good. One thing to bear in mind is that whilst the pool was nice there were at times limited sunbeds snd where the hotel is located there is only a sliver of beach is visible at low tide. All in all a very enjoyable stay which was only slightly marred on the last few days when several families arrived with a lot of children and they took over round the pool with a lot of shouting , from both kids and adults

Only negative is lots of renovations and in second room was zero water pressure for shower on first night (was better again in morning). Maybe water outage.

This place is beautiful and right next to the ocean. Breakfast was included with our stay and was beyond what I expected. Each morning you can eat right next to the ocean. The service was also amazing and the greeted us with a welcome drink and carmels. It’s pretty close to Chaweng beach and there is the taxis that drive by constantly if you don’t want to walk. The room was also spotless and they cleaned our room everyday and left us new water bottles to drink.

Old property. Bathroom shower fixture was barely hanging on the wall and when I turned on the water it basically fell off and swung to the left. I would definitely not recommend unless you're on an extremely tight budget. Only reason I stayed was that I was getting in late and leaving for Koh Tao in the morning and the reviews were "pretty good" not sure who wrote those.

Hotel is lovely and clean. There was some construction/renovations of the room we were meant to be in, so we were upgraded to the family villa. Private pool was great as the main pool closes at 7pm. Breakfast was extensive, clean and hot. Location is out of the way of the main strip. About 50baht per person tut tut to the main strip. Hotel is helpful at booking scooters and tours.

Fabulous friendly staff and had a upgraded room for 6 nights for my birthday .Olivio restaurant served a good selection of breakfasts .Pool was nice overlooking the beach .Accomodation was lovely in both pool villa and deluxe villa .Out of Chaweng but accessible to everywhere .cheaper to hire scooters just outside hotel than having taxis £6.60 per day excellent value

This resort is on a lovely stretch of beach. We loved the beach and infinity pool. The ocean is very shallow, you can walk out in the warm water for a long time. If you want to walk along the beach you have to time this for a low tide, at times the water comes right up to the wall. The breakfast is amazing, lots of options and they will also cook you items. The tables are set right out on the beach and the view is amazing. We were in a garden view room. The room was a bit dated, but had a large balcony. The rooms need to be updated and painted. The bathroom fixtures were old, the tub faucets were rusty, the bathroom door did not close and the shower door leaked. The bed was comfy and daily room service was provided. We were surprised at the state of the towels, many of them had stains and were badly frayed at the edges. At one point I took them back to exhange for some others. They provided you with a beach bag, pool towels and robes which was a nice touch. All in all good value for the money we paid.

Decent option with a great beach
The good: great service from friendly people, very good restaurant and a couple of good food options nearby, clean beach with white sand away from the parties, rooms and beds are a good size. To know: its a bit older. They had to come a couple of times for the air conditioner and mosquitos definitely get in through the gaps in the wooden doors so you will need spray and prepare for to swat a few (they are slow enough). Pool is small with limited seating so you need to get a chair early. Overall, I would definitely recommend it for couples and families who want to be close to but not in the middle of the action on Samui. The people, food, and sand made the price we paid worth it.

The property is absolutely beautiful and the room was huge! It included so many amenities I didn’t expect, such as beach bag, slippers, umbrella, and huge beach towels. The bathroom is basically three separate rooms, which was separated from the bedroom by a long hallway. Oh, and a private front porch plus a little lazy River in front of the room that added so much charm! I only stayed one night because I was transiting but I could have easily spent weeks there! The ocean is right outside, and it’s calm, shallow and easy for swimmers and non- swimmers alike to enjoy. I didn’t go in the pool because I didn’t have time, but it also looked amazing and very refreshing. Everything was sparkling clean and the staff treated me like family. Highly recommend this place!!

Just a few minutes from the busy tourist area the resort and especially the pool were quiet and relaxing. Soft sandy beach and perfect clear ocean water. The staff were excellent! Rooms very clean and cool.

I booked beach front room following Samui outstanding point. Thus it's excellent facilities but it's location at end Chaweng beach which it's far over 2-3 Kms from restaurant area. The services were too poor except Olivio restaurant. When I checked in GM informed me there was system error and commanded me stay in their garden view room with private pool (I booked since beginning Mar, they had time over 1 month to inform me but they didn't do) but I prefered to stay at beach front room. It's extremely terrible and almost was cancelled room. It's Songrant's festival which all hotels were fully book. But they could not do it because I did fully payment and booked through government program so they could not cancel my booking. Finally I could get beach front room which they reserved for another guest and guest did not check in yet. They did not clean room and there was no general services. This is too poor for 4 star hotel. I would advise you stay at other hotels and I believe that other hotels can provide you better services with good facilities.

this hotel is so great!! Such friendly and amazing staff, great pool and right on the beach. It’s located about a 7 minute drive from the center which was perfect for us because it’s just far enough from the noise but not too far. We really liked the gym too. Downsides: they could improve variety at breakfast and the WiFi (good not great). We loved BHN!

Close to Chaweng Beach and awesome views!
Hotel staff was very welcoming and attentive. They made sure our stay was comfortable! The pool has a beautiful view of the ocean, and the beach is well maintained. Daily breakfast was delicious. The rooms are spacious and have a very relaxing feel. Chaweng Beach is about a 20 minute walk if you walk along the shore side. There is a pharmacy and a laundry service nearby (where you can rent a motorbike) which is a steal to do your laundry there. Beware, lots of mosquitos. Bring repellent! We loved the hotel and definitely recommend!
