If you are very sensitive to sound and smell, Kerry Hotel may not be the best option for you. The staffs are very helpful and efficient. It is very convenient to the Whampoa MTR station and there is a foodcourt with a lot of food options, which is fabulous. However, the room is a bit disappointing. The carpets have stains on it and the air conditioner has an old air conditioner scent that is not pleasant to smell. Also, the room is not close to soundproof. The noises made from next door through the connecting door, from the corridor and from the pipes can be heard quite clearly in the room that we are staying in. We had terrible sleep that night. Ultimately it was a bit underwhelmed.

Top notch service
We had such a pleasant stay at Kerry Hotel. From check in to check out, there is nothing to fault. Staff were friendly, cleanliness was top notch and the views from our room were amazing. I had an item which was lost and the team were so quick and efficient to assist me with retrieving it. Thanks again and I would definitely return!

Highly recommended
.My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights. It is close t the subway, so easy to get around. The experience was amazing- from the spa to the pool to the restaurants and sky view bar. The breakfast buffet is the best we had and we stayed at other high-end hotels in Asia. The staff was so kind and welcoming, accommodating our every need. I would highly recommend the Kerry Hotel in Hong Kong.

Very nice hotel in a quieter area than Shangri La Kowloon. Near Hong Hum boardwalk. On site restaurant was quite good. Good services from cleaning staff to restaurant servers to concierge and front desk assistants. Nice shower head and sound prove between rooms. Comfortable pillows.

The hotel is located overlooking the harbour, and is close to a ferry terminal and an MTR station. The worst things were the time it took to check in, there were only 3 staff on duty to serve a line of c30 guests. It was also not clear which desk was for check outs or check ins. Some guests leave early in the morning, so surely it must be possible to clean and re-allocate rooms before the 3.00pm time. The long check in queue is not a good look for such a lovely hotel - please either increase the staff or open the check in window.

Nice hotel
I have stayed 5 nights in the summer time. The location is excellent just 5 min walks from the MTR. I like the size of the room and it is clean and quiet as well. There is a food court and coffee shop nearby. And the services is excellent. I would definitely stay there again. The pool and the spa also is awesome. love the view from the pool

General experience is great, but pending two things to improve: 1 both toothbrushes are identical. Separating them is of course not a problem when there’re two guests but still, the other 5 star hotels have different sets to distinguish easily. 2 didn’t find recycle basket to put used towels.

Poorly designed rooms
Check in was swift and professional, the lobby areas spacious but blandly designed, rooms are large and the complimentary mini-bar is a nice touch with echoes of Hotel Icon but there are design flaws throughout the rooms at The Kerry that really shouldn’t be here at this price point and with their 5 star ambitions. Some examples, the toilet and shower are next to each other separated by see through rather than frosted glass, there is no door on the toilet. Despite the size of the bathroom it is therefore only particular fetishists that would choose to make use of two of the facilities at the same time. Blinds are closed with a flimsy plastic pully that takes an age and wakes any sleeping partner, light switches require a degree in electrical engineering and a love of cryptic crosswords to decipher (example - the bedside lamps have a button entitled ‘night light’ on the base. This does not switch off the bedside lamps, it switches on a night light under the TV, the bedside lamps are switched off by a rotating nub underneath the lamp itself that has to be sought out via investigatory hand movements). In short, aspects of the room feel like you have wondered into an escape room with your task being to ‘prepare for bed in less than an hour’. It defies one of the primary reasons for coming to a luxury hotel, to relax and sleep well. All of this means we could easily come back, now we’ve cracked the codes, but whether the impression we have makes us want to return with the

What a lovely hotel but the location is just too far away from where everyone wants to be. Don’t get me wrong the price reflected the location but I would at least put a minibus service on every couple of hours to get people into town as waiting for a taxi sometimes got tedious. But a faultless hotel for amenities and style

Premier room was exceptionally spatious. Housekeeping was efficient and well done. Staff at the buffet restaurant were friendly and service oriented. We were there for dinner without a reservation and the staff did their best to give us a good table with a view. Dockyard is a great concept - we enjoyed the life music on a Friday evening as well as the Indian food, which was excellent.
