We always stay here when we come through town. The staff is exceptional and they have microwaves and a small refrigerator. The rooms are very clean and the shower was amazing!! We plan on staying there again very soon!!

This was a Motel 6 when we booked in April and is now rebranded as the Vagabond Inn. When we got there we were informed that while we had prepaid they never received the payment due to the rebrand so we had to pay again and ask Expedia for a refund. The front desk agent did try to help us but when you arrive at 9 pm road tired you just want to crawl into bed and sleep. Thankfully Expedia was able to get the refund going within a half hour of our arrival. We didn’t expect much and just wanted a cheap clean room for the night. While the bed was decently comfortable the hallways smelled stale and old nd the bathroom door had a huge whole it it. Biggish screen tv but it distant work. No hairdryer or any real amenities in the room. Everything needs a refresh and I wouldn’t recommend it really. Spend the extra and stay at the Days inn or the Beat Western in wheelers ridge.

Nice enough place to spend a night to break up a long drive. The location is very convenient to interstate 5, and to gas stations and dining options. I recommend Los Pinos Mexican restaurant, which is easy walking distance to the motel. The food was good and we liked the mom-and-pop atmosphere. As for the motel itself, the bed was very hard and the tub drained slowly, but the price was right, the room was large, and the ladies at the front desk were incredibly sweet and helpful. And we love that dogs always stay free! On balance, would book here again.
