"Our room was beautiful with three huge windows overlooking the canal. Leiden was a lovely university town with lots of good restaurant options. My husband is a cyclist, and was pleased with the ease of renting an electric bike from Easyfiets and it was easy to navigate the region with the Dutch bike routing system. Perfect temperature for biking and no rain the first week of May! Very kind and helpful staff—especially Anna who cleaned our room!"

Soft mattress, I like to have a window open at night but the crisp outside was noisy in room 208. "We booked the small double economy room,as some people have said in reviews, its small. And it is small,but with a large bed , tv , air conditioning if you need it, and a lovely quality shower. It was perfect for us, a couple in there 50s,we did bring a small travel kettle as there isnt one in the room. I would definitely recommend and book here again. We had and paid on the day a few times for there continental breakfast which was nice and plenty there. "
