There was some issue connecting to the Hotel WiFi in the room. That was sorted by me doing some online googling. The wall between rooms very thin. Can hear what’s going on. The shower in the middle of the room very good. Breakfast also very good for €16. Free coffee and tea throughout the day. Location very good. Close to centre and train station.

Budget hotel with a twist
The room design is artsy but the furnishings are very basic and I missed having any chair, sofa, table or desk. This is a budget hotel with the addition of a bathtub that looks like a shoe and free coffee machine in the lobby. But the price was reasonable, the room was quiet, the wifi was good, and the location is good. Front desk staff are just ok and not looking to go out of their way to be helpful. Most of the non-German TV stations were unavailable, as was one of the two lifts.

Big enough room, but it was missing night tables. Since there was plenty of empty space, it wouldn't be a bad idea to place at least a shelf near the bed. Very close to city center and main train station. Plenty of sockets in the room, conveniently located, some were also USB. Sink is separate from shower and WC. Free coffee, tea and croissants facilities in the lobby. Pretty environmentally friendly. There are no transparent curtains, only thick night curtains, so if you close them during the day you have to turn the light on, and if you leave them open you don't get a lot of privacy on lower floors (our bedroom was on first floor facing the parking lot and everyone parking could see you). It would be nice to add a layer of transparent curtains so you can get some light in during the day. Jazzy atmosphere in the hotel bar, guests are having drinks until late at night.

Excellent - great stay, great location
Very comfortable room and very friendly staff. Excellent location, close to the main station and in the city center. Also within walking distance from the Red Bull Arena for the concert. Very nice touch : complimentary coffee/tea all day and also delicious croissants during breakfast hours. Loved my stay!

FREE COFFEE and a great experience!
Wonderful, wonderful experience! The hotel staff was so friendly and accommodated our late check in. The hotel has free coffee and croissants in the morning which was an excellent touch. It’s very convenient to the train station and was easy to move around the city from there. We would absolutely stay here again!

Very good value
Very nice hotel, rooms and lobby look new, modern, vert clean, staffed with nice people. If you arrive later in the day, they won’t have parking for you. I ended up having to park on the street (could not get into the zoo garage where they sent me) so I had to wake up and leave much earlier than I had planned - to get my car off the street. Overall, very good value for the price

We experienced the worst check-in in our whole life! The staff who helped us was unfriendly, actually I would use the word 'rude'. We could never ever expect this in a 4-star hotel in Leipzig.

The location of this hotel is great, right in the middle of Leipzig. Unfortunately, our room was very small and very bland. The room consisted only of a bed and small television, along with the sink that couldn’t fit in the tiny bathroom. I would suggest this hotel for someone who will not be spending much time in the room and is traveling alone.

Generation Z style?
Definitely a new, minimalist, trendy type of facility. Room was bare bones: small floating shelf style, no chairs of any kind in room, no desk. Recessed bed is a design flaw(want to see the scrape on the top of my head from the exposed wood corner?) Concept I believe hotel was to get their guests to the HUGE common area on ground level. A plus without question was the 24/7 coffee-refreshment machine without charge, unlimited use. This was a huge plus for this hotel, and unique for Germany's 'no free coffee' custom.

Great place to stay.
This hotel is a real gem. Excellent value for money! The room was very modern with plenty of space and a great en suite bathroom. Service was top class with very friendly and helpful staff. The location is great - just a short walk to a lot of attractions and shopping areas. Staying here was a genuinely enjoyable experience.

Excellent hotel with unusual design features
Excellent hotel in central Leipzig. Very clean and comfortable bedrooms but they are rather quirky - it's the first time I've ever seen the bath next to the bed! Great location only 10 minutes on foot from the train station and 5 minutes from the main square. The free coffee (all day) and croissants (at breakfast) was a nice touch.

Wow! I'll be back.
The hotel was better than we expected. Overall the hotel is new, very modern and had a great contemporary colour scheme. The lobby was hugh with several very large comfortable lounges. Plus there is a free coffee (also tea & hot chocolate) machine with real beans available 24hrs. A great touch. The room was average in size, with wooden floors and a massive ceiling to floor window. What was unusual, was the hand basin was in the main bedroom area... that said, it fitted in well. The breakfast was more than ample with all the usual German amazing breads, pretzels, meats, eggs and fresh ground coffee. The beautiful old town and Christmas markets were only 5 minutes walk away. If you want shopping, that too, was across the road. The hotel name doesn't do this place justice... I'll most certainly be staying here again next Christmas. Oh, and there is also parking at a small cost..€10/night.

Funky quirk hotel a few minutes walk from the railway station and just across from the town centre. Friendly helpful staff. Wonderful room but has a little Dias to house the bath. Poorly lit and easy to trip as my partner actually did. Otherwise excellent.

Leipzig Budget Hotel
We stayed at Star 24 Leipzig for 3 nights between 23rd and 26th October 2018. The hotel is close to the main station, market square and other central facilities. Bedrooms are fairly simple with a shower provided. Staff were friendly an helpful and the bar was reasonably priced. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and felt it was value for money.
