"We stayed one of the ensuite rooms with vaulted ceilings and a dormer window- you just need to remember to duck ocasionaly. It's on the second floor so you need to allow for this, not a problem for most people. We were surprised how much space there was and the view over the park was lovely. The location in Leith is much closer to the city centre than it may appear as the regular (2-10 mins wait) new tram line whooshes you to the centre in 5-15 minutes. "This is a clean, modern hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. There is a nice lobby entryway that leads to the open, light filled dining and breakfast room. The free breakfast offers many cold and hot options as well as some gluten free items. The room was well appointed and all was clean and comfortable. "

"Our stay was brilliant . Looked after by Mirella . We had a comfortable room with the best breakfast ever tasted in any hotel . Beside all the cereals , home made Scottish porridge and bowls of fresh fruit . There was a menu listing everything . From smoked salmon to a full Scottish breakfast . This contained 2 eggs , 2 rashers bacon , sausage , tomato , mushrooms , black pudding , haggis , tatties , toast , and a bowl of beans . fruit juice , coffee . All made by Mirella's father .
