"The unit and location were nice. The main concern I have was that when there was a fire emergency in the building, the notification was very faint and I almost ignored it instead of evacuating. The phones were not working to call the front desk to ask about the faint noise I was hearing. This is a potential hazard and I suggest that it get fixed. "We have stayed in lots of B&Bs, but this lodge is the most beautiful we have ever seen. It is hard to describe how amazing it is and everything was just perfect. We loved staying here. The manager, Bobbie, was just so wonderful and we enjoyed talking with her, and her recommendations for places to visit were great. We felt at home here, and would very highly recommend staying here. "John & Marsha are the perfect hosts of this beautiful B&B in the mountains. Breakfast was tasty and unique each day we were there. The room was on the second floor which require a fairly steep flight of stairs. It is central to the area; Blowing Rock, Boone,Banner Elk, etc. "

"Looking at the cover photo for the Lodge, you kind of imagine this huge Lodge on a remote mountain top. It was much more hotel on a pretty busy street. Even so, the decor read Lodge and they have a gas fireplace in the lobby. From what I understand the place underwent a major upgrade/reno in the last year. It looks really good. One of my favorite things was the lit mountain scene headboard. "

"My husband and I stayed at the farm for our wedding anniversary. It was such an enjoyable experience. We stayed at the NutHouse up on the hill. It was a bit of a walk but worth it for a scenic view and a quiet getaway. This is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. 10/10 recommend. "

"This was my 5th time visiting Mountain Harbour and it is always wonderful. The owner's are continuously adding to and improving the property so each visit has been unique. The added bar area is awesome and the entire staff is just amazing. The things that haven't changed are the great service and the literally the best breakfast you will ever have. Amenities were VERY limited, and when some yahoo rode by oou patio on some kind of ATV for an unexplainable reason at 8AM the morning after we arrived- that woke us up. 'Popcorn and a movie' the following night was equally disappointing. Yes, the movie played, but no popcorn offered, and the latte machine near that area didn't work. Staff was friendly and as accomodating as they could be, but this place is still a work in progress."

"Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!"
