I would have stayed here many more times over the past years because of this. Otherwise excellent. Great breakfast nice room, good location. "Great experience at Novotel. It was in the perfect area and easily walkable to Mathew St., Liverpool One and Royal Albert Dock. Area was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside to our stay was the lack of proper air conditioning! It got fairly hot during the day. "

"We are usually premier inn customers but this time the Hilton was cheaper to stay. We were seeing Eric Clapton at Liverpool and we are local but decided to make a weekend of it. Hotel was lovely but just felt everything was a bit stingee. Cups In room were tiny and one milk each, one tea bag each. Chairs in room weren’t comfy and no fridge. Not enough staff on. Quite pricy at the bar. Overall nice place to stay x "

"The system of using the cards to access the elevator, then the hallway, then the second door into your particular hallway, and finally the door to your room, was a real hassle, because half the time it did not work. Maybe you'd get up to your floor, but then couldn't get into your hallway, so you'd try to go down to the service desk, but then the card didn't work in the elevator, so you were stuck in some upper hallway, etc. And once you got into your room (after three trips back down the stairs...
