“A quiet gem on the waterfront”

My request for a high, quiet room was met and it had a lovely view over Albert Dock. The public areas of the hotel were clean, quiet, spacious and relaxing. Reception staff were very polite, friendly and most helpful. The room and breakfasts were excellent value for money and this hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the waterfront and city. I We stayed during the week and I would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

“Echo Arena Holiday Ex”

I chose this hotel because of it's convenient location regarding it's proximity to the Liverpool Echo Arena. It's actually the closest one, you're there in seconds! It's an old refurbished mill done to a high finish, great ambiance within the room with exposed brickwork, original metalwork and LED lighting. Great views from windows overlooking the Albert Docks. Breakfast included also which was nice!

“A very impressive Hotel”

This Hotel exceeded our expectations. The receptionist was very nice and allowed us to have a room overlooking the Dock itself. The room was excellent, very clean and spacious. The Breakfast was adequate and always fresh and replenished if needed. We found the Hotel to be in an excellent position for the main attractions, being near the eye and the cavern quarter, this being 10 mins walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

“Albert Dock a real winner”

A very comfortable room with a view over to the Echo Arena, the rooms on the other side of the corridor have views oer the docks themselves, much more interesting! Car parking is probably best in the Echo Arena multi-storey, ask at receptiom for a discount voucher. The long, thin layout of the Holiday Inn Express in the Albert Dock means that you've a good walk to your room from the lift if your room is one of the higher numbers. Inclusive breakfast was passable but did the job. Easy walking distance to the city centre so very handy. One lift was out of order, so with the added demand things were slow - but a great way to kick start the fitness regime climbing the stairs. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel in the Albert Dock. The old building has been refurbished and keeps many original features - looks great. Loads of bars in the dock area - great area to stay Rooms very modern and comfortable

“Excellent Value For Money!”

Good hotel in a great location. The hotel building is built into the old buildings surrounding the Albert Dock and the architecture of the building brought a lovely unique feel to what is fundamentally a value hotel. Plenty of space in the rooms and public areas and breakfast was perfectly adequate I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Liverpool on a budget.

“Well worth a punt”

We visited Liverpool in March and stayed in what was described as a luxury boutique hotel. This time we opted for what we thought would be much more basic accommodation. The room was great with a brick vaulted ceiling and a wonderful view across the albert dock itself through a huge window. There's no spa,pool, or luxury extra's but the level of service was excellent. All the staff were pleasant, helpfull, and more than happy to assist when asked. Its in a great location and everywhere in the City is easy to get to on foot. There's no car park but the nearest is only a two minute walk away with loads of available spaces, this being on a weekend when all the hotels were fully booked up. As said " well worth a punt" we'd definitely stay here again.
