It also has a fabulous little café whereyou can grab a bite while looking over the copper serpent sculpture thatemerges from the lake. Nevertheless, it’s still challengingif you’re an expert, due to its hilly approaches and high winds in autumn andwinter.

Lovely area, but town rather run down and considering this was the Victorian Weekend festival - most shops were closed on the Saturday as was the Cycle museum, and the Spa tea rooms

Went back to revisit area that I went to as a child. The museum was well worth a visit. Walk around the lake was nice, but the cost of hiring a boat was a little expensive. Also, unfortunately, like many other town centres shops have closed.
