Our room was minuscule, dark, and freezing. NB: Your room thermostat does nothing. It's for show. They control the temperature centrally--and the heat was off. They kept saying they'd turn it on but didn't do that until night time. I think that's how they get you to leave the room, since there's no breakfast to get you out, so the cleaners could come in. It took over two hours of begging after we first got to the room, before they gave us a small space heater. Since the room was so small, the tiny space heater heated it quickly--until a breaker blew and the outlets went out. The cleaning people didn't clean the tub and were circumspect about sharing routine toiletries. Desk personnel were unwilling to loan scotch tape so we could wrap a Christmas gift. The only positives were: Prosecco in lobby while you wait for your room, a bowl of apples in lobby, plenty of hot water for a bath, and pleasant-enough staff. I recommend you go to this hotel's sister hotel instead, the Kensington Marriott. That one is just across the street. They're both Marriots. That one has larger, warmer, brighter rooms, a minifridge, etc., nicer personnel, and a comfortable executive room business lounge--and they will loan you tape. At that hotel, you can control your room's temperature and find places to put your luggage and personal toiletries. Imagine that!
