The property was ideally located, well decorated, comfortable rooms and the welcome from the door staff on the ground floor was always genuine and so welcoming. Sadly, one of our party had to change rooms FOUR times due to a flood on the 5th floor but wasn’t even offered an apology let alone any compensation. The customer service was rather lacking despite my colleague trying to make light of the situation.

We just had a 1 night stay while watching the Foo Fighters, very convenient for shopping and london stadium and the train station. Staff were lovely, wish we were staying longer

Overall, it was an okay experience but two key negative things affected our perception of the property. The first is that streets were closed for construction and the taxi had to drop us off half a mile away and we had to walk with our luggage all the way to the hotel. It would've been nice if we had a heads up on this issues. The next which was very upsetting is that the front desk tried to trick us. We had a reservation through Expedia for a king size bed at Hyatt Regency, they gave us a queen size bed at Hyatt House. At no point did they share with us that they were oversold at the Regency or that they would make it right. It was only went we went down stairs and complained about the room that they owned it and gave us a 75 pound credit. Things happen and we would've understood but the dishonesty was upsetting and disrespectful.

Would Stay Again
First time I've stayed at a Hyatt hotel. Easily one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in, particularly the soft pillow, which is something I've always struggled with at other hotels. Very clean, presentable and well laid out rooms.

Visited to attend an event at the London stadium, location and room was excellent. However one fly in the ointment - we ordered a drink from the bar in our 1st evening (a Margarita) which despite costing £12 came in a glass the size of an egg cup and was as weak as could be. When we mentioned we weren’t happy to the waitress she simply laughed in our face. We did press that we were being serious and she promised to speak to the manager but never got back to us- we have no idea if she bothered to do so. Moral of the story is this is a great hotel in a good location but avoid the bar!
