Not conveniently located. At least 30 minute taxi ride from Kings Cross Train Station. Had 30 minute walk to where you can catch the Hop on Hop off tour bus. 3 people at front desk so checkin was quick. They didn’t mind answering questions about bus tours and transportation. Have to use room key to operate elevators which are slow. Liked having bedroom separate from kitchen/living area. No bathtub so bathroom is extremely small with no counter space. Hate in UK there are no face towels. It’s terribly awkward to use big hand towel to shower. Buffet breakfast is standard scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage. Same thing every morning; no cook to order.

Price was lower than other hotels around. Staff was very friendly especially restaurant staff for breakfast. Breakfast is the only thing they served and we felt were required to keep the price reasonable. Their 3 person accomodations with sofa bed in the kitchenette are was attractive as we were 3 persons. No direct transportation to central London where all attractions are. We ended up using Taxis which made the comparatively lower room rent balanced out at the expense of time required to travel.

Master bedroom, the bed is placed very close to the cupboard. I have hurt myself many times as I walked towards the cupboard . Dryers in the basement need to be replaced. Clothes have taken a long time to dry or damp even after 2-3 cycles. Hours of operation for laundry needs to be 24 hours. Most of us are out during the day. By having laundry room closed at 11pm, this is not feasible at all. We stayed on the 4th floor. There is a particular housekeeping staff has a bad body odor. Every morning, we could smell her all the way to the elevator. It’s very unpleasant. Please advise all staffs to be hygienic. Wait time on elevator is incredibly slow. Breakfast time is 6.30-10.30 on weekdays. It needs to be extended to 11am. Customers are on vacation and don’t get up too early for breakfast. This is our second time staying at this property. On both times, we had requested for a 2 bedroom suite. On the first time our rooms are bigger. This time, the rooms seemed smaller. Honestly, I don’t think I’d stay here again. The main reason I picked this place is the laundry facility and free breakfast. Both did not meet my expectation.

Had a great stay at the hotel as it is close to several tub stations and buses. They don't have on-site parking but you can reserve a spot at the Tesco supermarket (literally next door). The self service laundry was great but can get really busy...we had to do laundry past midnight as the machines were not available. Had issues when I asked for dishwasher tablets (house keeping had not left me any on some days) and a change of sheets for my baby's cot, no one came up and I had to walk up to the front desk or house keeping to directly ask. The hotel came with daily full english breakfast but if you go late, not much food is left. I do highly recommend to people who want space and the convenience of an apartment style hotel as I would stay again. Bonus, there is an amazon locker off to the side of the lobby but the reception would accept packages on your behalf if you let them know in advance.

We enjoyed our short stay at the Resident Inn. The staff were excellent and we liked our room. We would recommend this hotel and we would stay here again. The only negative I have was the view out of our window from the fourth floor and the early wake up with the cleaning team. Parking is available next door at Tesco and charging points for your electric vehicles.

The staff was friendly and very attentive. The free laundry needs attention. The washers left things too wet for the dryers. I had too run the dryer through 3 cycles to finally get the load dry. It took 3 hours out of my time and multiple trips to get the job done. The other patrons had the same problem.

Great hotel, pefect location. The 2 bedroom suite was exactly what we needed it. Breakfast was good but they ran out of cutlery and some food several times. I called the front desk for a set of sheets for the pull out sofa and they said it was going to $10 a day and I said nevermind. They checked and saw that I was an rewards member and decided not to charge me for them. That was the only questionable issue. Over all a great stay!!

Loved the big room, and the delicious breakfast including fresh fruit salad. All the staff I encountered were great. One front desk staffer remembered which room I was in after only 2 days, and the breakfast buffet staff including Gurpreet, Monika and Roberto gave a great start to our day. Our room was quiet, the bed was comfy, and the tiny dishwasher was a nice touch.

Hotel was very busy. No hot water in shower, bathroom floor dirty. The room booked was not available & a comparable option was not provided. An upgraded room was available that we had to pay an extra 50 euro per night. Staff was very friendly but hotel felt very over used & crowded.

We had a great experience here at Residence Inn Kensington. We would definitely consider returning in the future! It was about a 13 minute walk to the nearest Underground station, so that was just something we had to account for in our travel times, but overall it wasn’t a make or break for us. We do wish the hotel had its own restaurant for dinners as opposed to take out from the Italian across the street for “room service.” It was a quiet neighborhood and a lot really enjoyed the area. Overall the accommodations, staff friendliness, and ease of our stay was great. Highly recommend.

My daughter and I enjoyed a very comfortable stay, benefiting from its proximity to public transport and rooms that are not only spacious by London standards but also very comfortable. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was superb. A special thank you to Roberto, the host, for providing a dining experience comparable to a restaurant's. As a Human Resources Manager, I was particularly struck by the staff's approach and treatment. They were exceedingly polite and attentive, offering the comfort of a boutique hotel. The gym and complimentary laundry service were also excellent features. I will definitely consider this hotel as my first choice in the future. A big thank you to everyone else at the reception whose names I may not recall.

Outstanding service!! Cannot say enough about how well the staff did in exceeding our expectations at every opportunity. The ONLY complaint is the lift- undersized for the property, and with a disabled guest the stairs are not an option. Wasted quite a bit of time waiting and heard many complaints from other giests about the same.

Check in staff was unfriendly and was actually charged for room x 4 days to credit card by mistake….the staff didnt realise until this was pointed out. Room was a good size and the small kitchen was ideal for cooking but room needed a good hoover. The sofa bed was very comfortable for sleeping and sitting. Housekeeping staff were very accomodating. Laundry facilities very welcomed especially with a child. Breakfast was ok. Tesco nearby was a bonus. Hotel bit out of the way. Plenty of public transport available and was easy to get around.

Very close to bus stops and a TESCO, so you have everything you need. LOVE LOVE LOVE the free breakfast every single day, which we didn't know about during the booking. It's a great start to the day and has variety and consistency too. Rooms are very clean, and staff are amazing.
