We are not a boutique hotel but all rooms were recently renovated, and of course you could have asked for another piillow, we have different types. The Hotel is conveniently located just 1 bus stop from the train station and 300 m on foot from the lake shore and the pedestrian area which leads to the city center. Sorry you were not well informed about how to arrive! Even in low season there are a lot of places to discover here in Lugano, so do not miss the chance to enjoy the mild climate of Ticino! We are sorry you had problem with the TV, but we are always here at the reception to help in any matter. We do not really understand you comment about staff, as we are a family run hotel and dedicate to the hotel the great part of our day. Free basic WIFI connection is provided in the whole structure. Of course if all guest are trying the same time to load heavy files it may get slow. Good it was not a matter of life or death!;) Hoping you will give us second chance. kind regards

We can not really understand your comment about the room rate. of course you just pay the rate you booked on the internet and it is always including breakfast. We do not change the rate once you arrive! Please consider that our rates are in Swiss Francs and it could be that you looked the rates in your currency. Of course the exchange rate can be different from the time you booked to the time you stayed at the hotel. Also the city taxes are not included in the room rate, as stated in the description. as a little tip: when you have this kind of doubt just ask straight away. Dear Guest, we are glad you enjoyed your stay at Hotel Colorado. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station (850 meter) and the lakeshore and pedestrian area (ca 350 meter). So just a short walk but of course you may use the city buses to reach train station and also city center and stops almost in front of the hotel. We always recommend for tourist the bus number 2, which runs among the local attraction from Monte San Salvatore trought station, city center and till Monte bre. As you state, the Hotel is convenient located just a 300m away form the pedestrian area and lake and convenient located near the train station (800m) easily reached also with the city buses in a few minutes.
