“Food”
Liked the eating options in the little cafe: breakfast to order, smoothies, etc.
“Good deal for the price”
The hotel staff was extremely professional and friendly. Breakfast was awesome. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable.
“Very nice accomodations”
Clean rooms, service good, breakfast was very nice.
“nice place but”
The room was great and very comfortable however there were 2 issues. 1. I ordered a "first run" movie (still in theaters) for $14 and half way through it there was a loud tone that would not go away. They tried to reset it but no change. 2. There was a "squeak" in the ceiling as if somone upstairs kept oppening and closing something. It was frequent and loud enough to keep me awake most of the night. I was in room 111
“Pleasantly surprised”
I went to Macon to visit my Dad, and looked for a hotel close to his place. I was worried because 2 other travelers (only 2 reviews)gave it a 1 1/2! I even called and expressed my concerns to the front desk before I arrived. All I can say is "Who are these people?!!!" The breakfast buffet was lovely with fare for those who wanted healthy fresh fruit to biscuits and gravy and grits and belgian waffles. The waitstaff was lovely, and all the employees I came in contact were pleasant and helpful. The pool was nice in the 105 degree weather, and the air conditioner was quiet and very efficient. Only complaints: bathroom pocket door got stuck so I was afraid to close it again (they came right away and opened it) and twice my key wouldn't let me in to the building, which required a trek around to the lobby.
“Value?”
The hotel was nice, desk clerk was very polite. The pillows were not comfortable. There was no sofabed as advertised. For the price and location we thought they should provide a continental breakfast rather than charge $10 per person.
“Not impressed”
For the price we had to pay for this hotel, I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room or the hotel in general. Mold was in the bathrooms as well has hair all over the bathroom floor. When we went for the continental breakfast, they wanted to charge us for the buffet, and we were guests in the hotel. Needless to say we passed. I have never stayed at a Marriott Courtyard before and I'm not sure that I will ever again after this experience.
“Not worth the cost - not impressed at all”
This Marriott Courtyard is not up to par and not worth the charge when there are plenty other motels close by. Poor service, lack of amenities, air system goes cold to hot, cheap furniture & flourescent lighting. Staff has poor attitudes. When I told the check-out clerk there were 3 local phone calls on my bill that I didn't make, she asked me if she could check-out the person behind me before she corrected the bill. I told her I did mind - that she needed to finish my check-out first. Very poor management.
