"There were two things that made my stay unenjoyable. First, I was there 1 week and only had one hot shower. I believe after a few people use the hot water you can not get it, as the one hor shower I had cane at three in the afternoon. Second, the towels and sheets need to be replaced. It is not a big deal for me that the sheets consistently had stains on them, but the towel iften had dirt marks on them, like they were being used in a auto garage. The swimming pool was wonderful and offered a truly beautiful view of the city. If we find ourselves back in Makassar, we would stay here again. The food from the restaurant was just so-so, but it is available 24 hours, which is convenient if you need it. The only negative was the hotel shuttle driver who met us at the airport, as he wasn't very friendly, never introduced himself, had two boys at the airport help with the bags and then signaled that we needed to pay them, and only smiled when we tipped him, which we felt we had to do rather than wanted to do. As a woman, had I been alone in the car with him, I would not have felt comfortable. "
