“our overnight stay”
we were given a warm welcome & the accomodation was clean.the hotel is very convienient for the city shops and piccadilly train station.we will certainly stay again.thank you.
“weekend break”
Everything about the hotel was excellent. Great location and facilities.
“5 Star”
It's not cheap but it's a very impressive hotel. I can't really fault it to be honest: helpful staff, clean, all the mod-cons, etc. Definitely recommend as long as it's in your price-range
“Excellent place to stay”
Our experience was exceptional. Very comfortable room, helpful staff. Comfortable enough to stay in one Friday night and order room service!
“Thank you!”
The style of the hotel was impressive and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Exceptional service over all.
“excellent city centre hotel”
very good standard of hotel in a superb location for shops and transport links.
“Clean, staff helpful but too noisey for us!”
The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. Not sure if we would stay on a Saturday night again though as there were alot of groups of men and women staying. So it was extremely noisey after midnight when they were coming back to there rooms, talking loudly and banging doors. Which seemed to go on for ever!
“Hot Cookie”
This hotel is now part of the Double Tree (Hilton) chain so you get a hot cookie on arrival. Stayed in King Room with shower room which was showing signs of wear and tear though nice and clean. Generally the rooms are on the small side at this hotel but are fine for weekend break. No real changes since it was a City Inn. All in all the room was perfectly acceptable with a great location opposite Piccadilly Railway Station and the Village. 10 minute walk to Arndale shopping area
“would stay again”
Check in time was 15.00hrs but arrived just after lunch, room was ready and available. pre booked car park space 1 week before as only a limited number of spaces. Receptionist very helpful ...Didn't eat in hotel as so close to city centre so many places to choose from
“Great hotel - would definately recommend”
Arrived at hotel approx 11:30 and went to drop case off as check in not till 15:00 but was informed that we could have a room straight away. The room was spotlessly clean, and had a computer in it, which is the first hotel I have been in to do so. Had to go back to reception as the key card didn't work first time, but the man I saw (Anthony) said if it didn't work again to just ring him from the phone next to the lift and he would come up to fix it, which was helpful. The only downside to the room was that it overlooked a derelict building - obviously not the hotels fault but wasn't very pleasant. We had a twin room and the duvets were quite small, but this is obviously personal preference. The hotel is in a great location for the Arndale Centre and shops about, bus station and very close to the train station too. Museum of Science and Industry within walking distance. Frequent bus service to the Trafford Centre (X50 or 250). The X50 also stops at The Imperial War Museum. Had a 3 course meal at hotel for £19.95. Only thing to mention is I would recommend getting a side order with the main course (£3.50 each) as there is not enough to eat on the main course alone. We were very pleased with the hotel and would definately use it again, and have already recommended it to a friend who is going to Manchester in the near future. You also receive a free warm cookie!
