Courteous staff. Location trendy with walkable good restaurants and connected to a mall. Fixtures are old, no hot water, few shower tiles unglued. Terrace was used as storages. Visible crawling pest. Very disappointed as it was advertised as 5 star accommodation.

Good location, nice pool, clean and friendly staff
Friendly staff. Clean room. I had an early check in at an empty unit. The early check was charged seriously. Unit has super fast internet, Netflix, smart tv. Even a washing machine.

Overall it’s a good experience. I enjoyed the fact the property was close to everything including the easy access to the mall. I wish the front desk staff was a little more friendly with inquires.

Max residences need to do more work in communicating that it was a unit owner and not the owner of the development. I spent a lot of valuable time just to find where can find the property and to find how I ca check in.

A con... Expensive , small room, not a real hotel, no restaurant or bar, no entrance sign so difficult to find, no return of funds if you want to leave and you do, aircon blow on your head...

Great 5 star experience in Manila
I'm very pleased with my experience at the hotel. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room was very clean and the hotel is attached to the beautiful Venice Grand Canal Mall. The hallway did smell a bit like smoke but that's the only drawback. I would stay here again.

NOT a small Hotel Room, it's a Spacious Condo
I posted a review about my check in, but I felt compelled to write a longer review here after reading some of the other (not so good) reviews. I can tell you that Max Pavilion runs a very professional organization and highly qualified staff. They send a very nice email greeting when you book a room, they do a followup email and offer suggestions when to arrive to avoid the heavy traffic in Manila. Their concierge greeted my wife and I in the lobby withing a few minutes, accompanied us to our room and brought us a nice refreshing welcome drink. This is not something you get from any 3-4 Star hotels and only from a few 5-Star hotels. In my opinion, they are 100% High Class! Yes, it is true they are not a hotel, but the accommodations are much better that any 3-4 Star hotel. And if you plan to stay anywhere more than a day or two, you really want the comfort and space of Max Stay's condo suites. These are not tiny hotel rooms, they are spacious condo suites with everything you would expect to find in a condo and at a price far far less than a hotel suite. The units are are connected via walkway to the Venice Grand Canal Mall with great shopping and delicious restaurants that offer just about any cuisine you want. Do yourself a favor and forget the hotels, stay in comfort at one of the Max Pavilion units. You will be more than pleased!

Superb !
I don't know about the others saying the room wasn't good at all. The room was clean, ac is cold, shower is okay as well as the heater, bathroom is also clean, staffs are accommodating they even waited us for 6 hrs at the lobby because of late arrival. I only planned to stay for 2 days but ended up staying a week. The place is near Venice Mall, there's plenty of restaurants near. Overall experience was great. Would recommend this to a friend :)

BARE ROOM NO HOTEL FACILITIES! FRAUD!
This is someone renting out rooms in a condo tower falsely advertising as hotel with 5 star facilities. We found NONE of the facilities advertised, not even a hotel lobby or reception. It took almost one hour (!) for someone to show up at the apartment tower to take us to the room because nobody was working on site. The lobby with fireplace, business center, free shuttle and all the other advertised hotel facilities DID NOT EXIST. There was also no access to a shared swimming pool, residents club or other condominion tower facilities to make up. Outside next to the building was construction going on and inside the building next to the room rented out was construction. Workers were hauling building supplies up and down the elevator. We found out that similar rooms are available for rent for 15000 Pesos per month via OLX. We were charged more than 18000 Pesos for 3 nights. We asked for a 50% refund making up for the lack of any hotel facilities. This would still have been 9000 Pesos for 3 nights. There was no cooperation or counter offer from the owner. No concessions whatsoever or attempt at making up. This was our worst ever Expedia experience after many years and countless hotel stays. We feel outright defrauded and the only reason we even agreed to check in to that room was the fact that we pre-booked via this site and did not have time to look for a real hotel on short notice.

Für 5 Sterne reicht es nicht. Die Ausstattung ist ok. Das Kingsize Bett ist sehr bequem und der 49 Zoll Curve-Fernseher mit kostenfreier amazon Prime und Netflix Nutzung ist eindeutig das Highlight. WLAN mit im Schnitt 10 Mbit im Download (1 Mbit im Upload) hat zuverlässig funktioniert. Abzug gibt es bei der Küche: der Wasserkocher lässt sich nur mit meinem Stromadapter nutzen. Die Tassimo ist klasse, jedoch fehlen die passenden Tassen dazu. Der Billigkleiderschrank ist schräg zusammengebaut. Der Roomservice ist nett und zuvorkommend, jedoch wurde 2x nicht immer auf dem sehr guten hohen Niveau sauber gemacht (ich war 4 Wochen hier). Ich kann das Appartment-Hotel dennoch guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

전반적으로 깔끔합니다. 특히 무료 laundry service가 daily 지원해주니 좋습니다 다만, 호텔은 아니다 보니 아침 조식 부페는 없으며, 기타 호텔에서 누릴 수 있는 부대시설은 즐기기 어렵습니다. 위치는 베니스몰 인근이라 식당 및 쇼핑은 괜찮고, 하이스트릿도 5분 이면 도달 가능해서 위치는 편리합니다.

The overall facility looks good and room was clean enough. But there was no actual FRONT desk and the guide who sit on the front can't do any chek-in or check-out... They just call to the other clerk and the clerk appeared from somewhere. It took 15~20min normally to meet the actual front clerk. No taxi calling, No bell boy, Key is the old manual key. Be aware that this hotel is 5 starts.

日本でいう民泊のホテル
一般の人達が居住する高級コンドーミニアムの一部を宿泊客にあてている。そのため受付で係員を呼び出しチェックイン。チェックアウトは部屋から係員を呼び出し行う。すぐに来てくれスムーズで問題なし。部屋はスリッパがなかったが清潔快適、キッチンや冷蔵庫もあり。ショッピングモールに隣接。
