Common areas and rooms were clean and it appeared there had been upgrades to the hard surface floors and furniture. Breakfast was good. Challenge is no elevator. Our room was 2nd floor as was a man who checked in ahead of us. Both had reservations and the man ahead was older and driving a car with a handicap tag. He asked for a first floor room and the clerk said only double double available, despite few guests. Ask for first floor rooms when you make a reservation here!

Good hotel overall. Friendly staff, the only inconvenience is that the breakfast area is really small, and at a point it was very crowded.

The best things about the property were the daily rate, the front desk, staff, and the convenience of the location. Upon arrival there was a strong odor in the hallway that smelled like sulfur similar to Indian Lake to the south (was the heavy rain impacting the plumbing?). However, that went away the next day. Also, the breakfast ran out of sausage and yoghurt on Sunday because the hotel was packed.
