This hotel is in a perfect place. It’s by the subway and the buses as well as a very nice mall, and a lot of food selections.

The hotel was very dirty throughout the building and rooms. Our room also smelt of stale cigarettes. I would never stay here again.

Recommended & really good value.
Very nice hotel. Modern & clean. Helpful & accommodating staff. We were a few hours early but they let us check in with no extra cost. Metro opposite & buses & trams 5 minutes walk away in La Joliette square. 15 minute walk to various tourist places & the bay.

The shower curtain had stains and looked dirty, there were little flies and/or mosquitoes flying around, had little ants were in the bathroom and I couldn’t leave a soda can open because ants would get to it.

Its a decent property for the price, all the basics are in place. Great location, free wifi, decent sized rooms. Clean and accessible. Okay for short term holidays.

Location was good. Price was good. We had to wait at least 10 minutes before the front desk staff came to the desk. The lady that was cleaning the kitchen floor and worked in the breakfast area really couldn’t care less about customers. When we did see someone at reception they were friendly and helpful. This was the smallest bare bones hotel I have ever stayed in. Not even a bar of soap in the bathroom. Our room was in the back of the hotel and was quite noisy from the local residents.

Excellent staff very friendly and helpful but rooms had no basic facilities like kettle or fridge and ensuite shower room had no shower curtain so room was soaked everytime. Breakfast was very limited no cereal or fruit and only bit of eggs and bacon could do alot better when u consider it's not a complimentary breakfast but a paid breakfast. Staff are the redeeming part of this hotel I doubt I will stay here again

Decent stay for the price!
The hotel front desk let us have a room before the 3pm check-in time, and held our bags for us after check-in. The AC in the room was great, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathrooms are what needs work - it was dingy, had weird stains on the walls and door handle, and there was no door or curtain for the shower - so water got everywhere. No toiletries were provided. Otherwise a decent stay for the price!

Sufficient for a quick stay but lacking basic amenities such as a minibar and safe in the room as well as soap for the bathroom sink (you have to use the shower gel). Within walking distance of the port, local shops, restaurants and a shopping centre. About a 20 minute walk to the old port and about the same to the train station.

Short break in Marseille
Good basic hotel, clean and comfortable rooms. Staff helpful, friendly and welcoming. Area ideal for getting around the city on foot and using the excellent public transport systems. Got 10x our money's worth by purchasing the 72 hour travel card which covered the bus to and from Cassis!

Our stay in Marseille
We stayed for 6 days. It was really nice experience the hotel is nice really clean and the A.C. and the free WiFi are definitely great pluses. The staff is so friendly and so helpful. We loved them. We loved the location is really central and there is a great shipping centre just down the road. The old port is quite close too there transport links are very close and easily approachble. It was a great experience and we shall be back !

Good budget hotel close to centre of Marseille
I arrived at Marseille train station on the airport bus. The hotel is an easy 15 minute walk from the station, and is straightforward to find. The room was fairly basic, but clean and comfortable. I didn't book breakfast, but ended up taking it at the hotel every day - it's a well priced continental buffet. If you're a light sleeper ask for a room not on the street side - a nearby cafe/pub is a little noisy. You can walk into centre Marseille easily - either into Vieux Port directly along the Rue de la Republique, or along the water past the Cathedrale la Major and museums. There is a shopping mall and loads of cafes and restaurants near the hotel.

Parking was horrible, small and narrow, parking entry was often blocked by others cars. I had dizziness, I could not sleep too low, I went to the reception, asked for another pillow, the receptionist told me that I had to come back to see a housekeeper, I did 2 times, the housekeeper was still absented, I was already late, I was very sleepy after a long trip, so I piled my clothes to make a pillow... But 7 euro breakfast is worth it. The price of the hotel room is reasonable.

Marseille is a big city, but this hotel is convenient to the metro and several busses plus lots of places to eat. A good place to stay, to see the city!
