"The hotel is a gorgeous little jewel in the middle of a medieval town, beautiful spot. What makes it wonderful is the attention we received from the staff, every single interaction was extremely positive, they went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The food was amazing too. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone in search of a very unique experience in Portugal. "

"So much was excellent. The value for money is spot on and even though the restaurant is pricey for Portugal, it's still very good value. Breakfast was far more than we'd expected, especially after some poor offerings elsewhere. Fresh cake, cereal, meat, cheese, scrambled eggs, tea, coffee, yoghurt, fruit, juice, etc. Only suggestion to Sever would be to tidy it up a bit in places - outside litter pick, replace odd bits of tatty furniture (our bed frame and one shelf), strengthen the WiFi...
