The temperature in the building was not cool enough, we had a broken chair. The a/c in our room was also broken, we had to transfer to another room on our second day.

I’m super picky so 8.5 out of 10
Lovely hotel, mattress was ok , very quiet, the food was amazing! They still want you to comply with mask but just refuse you will be ok !
Everything was wonder except that I paid for breakfast extra and they told me that it was not showing in their system.

When I bought the tickets I was told the breakfast was included, then I asked the clerk hotel for my breakfast tickets he said that Expedia did not make the reservation with the breakfast so I have to pay extra for my breakfast very desapointed with expedia about my reservation.
I didn't like that the pool is not open. I didn't like that the breakfast schedule was a different one and I lost a paid breakfast. I didn't like that tne AC was not cold enough and the staff was not helpful to change me the room or provide a fan.

As always Holiday Inn Matamoros never disappoints. Staff is always friendly, rooms are very clean with everything working. The hotel handled all measures with the pandemic the right way.

It was well located and the rooms were quite espacious. The breakfast was only satisfactory and asked for a sweet bread and they brought my a very stale peace of bread - it was disguting and almost vomitted.

It was good only the lady in the front desk did not wanted to work with us because we arrived early and we booked a not smoking room and the only one that she had available a that time was a smoking we said it was fine but we can change later to a not smoking and she said that we will have to pay again
