Had a windowless room for my 3 nights and hard to tolerate with very noisy fan/air conditioner running constantly- no rooftop area to escape the incessant noise

1st time staying at the hotel; place looks pretty well renovated/maintained in common areas. Rooms although clean, weren't as well maintained. Cafe was comical! Toaster caught fire and non of the staff present were bothered with attending to it. Hotel claimed not to accept credit cards and insisted I went to a nearby ATM to withdraw cash to settle my bill. Took them close to 30mins before my check out was completed. Overall stay was still acceptable, but will not return in future.

The staff could not accept my booking, as ebookers provided the wrong reservation numbers. Lots of phone calls were necessary so that the staff finally accept the booking. Ebookers wasn't really professional in this issue and the hotel very stuborn

Good Location with food stalls nearby
Serves nice refreshing welcome drinks and free ice lollypops. Good location with food stalls nearby, They have a rather ridiculous policy by requesting guests to sign a gurantee to ensure thier visitors do not smoke in the room, otherwise a penalty is imposed, It should be the other way round since it is a non-smoking hotel, Value for money

The bed is very dirty and a lot of bed bugs. my staff came back with a lot of bed bugs spot over his body, legs and arms.

Pros: convenient for food, transport, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, cheap price Cons: Lack of facilities such as gym and pool. The mini gym condition is nt good enough for a proper workout Conclusion. If u just up for sleeping, then its the best thing u can get. But if u need to hit the gym, enjoy in hotel. U might need to consider another hotel.

Helpful staff.
This hotel was very convenient for us, close to my family and food street around in this hotel in the evening. The staff was very helpful. Well done to the staff, keep up the good job. The only a little thing we don’t like, no natural like in the room.

Nice enough for a short stay
The hotel staff were very attentive and there was a good variety of foods available at breakfast. The room was comfortable enough, we only stayed for one night before we continued traveling. However, the room did feel a bit tired. Okay for the price but certainly not luxury.

Clean, friendly, but noisy
Basic corporate stye hotel. Large breakfast buffet. Clean and presentable. However, it was very noisy; they play loud piped music into the corridors outside the rooms until 10pm, which can be clearly heard inside the room. Also the hotel is designed with a central atrium going all the way up the inside of the building which means all noise made on the ground floor (people arriving and departing / reception / checking in / checking out / large groups at breakfast) carries right up throughout the building to all floors. A minor point - the room was booked with a "City View" - but instead of curtains the windows in all rooms are painted out for privavcy, so there is no view, city or otherwise.

Best Medan city hotel
We took the airport shuttle train into Medan which was easy and quick . Our stay in Medan was just for two nights as a transit stop over. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was amazing and we were able to leave bags in storage while we went to Simeulue.

Thump down of the pricing system !
Noting special.. the only convenient is eating place right at the back of the hotel. The hotel was advertised for SGD32 per night... I booked for 2 nights:- Therefore SGD32/- X 2 nights = SGD64/- plus Govt tax x Amt = SGD72-79 or something. But I was charged for Rp1.100.000 or about SGD106/- So, I thought it could be including deposit.. but it was not. Total paid Rp1.100.000 + refundable Rp400.000. Very misleading pricing system .

Room condition and hotel staffs
Check in Service Firstly the counter check in staff weren't friendly and no smile on her face. I felt like she is forcing herself to be polite. King Bed and toiletries The bedlinen wasn't clean. Not sure whether the hotel change the bed sheets and the pillowcase. I still can see the yellow and black stain under the blanket. Lucky I brought my own body and hair shampoo. Hotel has provided shampoo but didnt mention for body or hair. Air-Conditional The aircond blower is very noisy. We can hear the noise is getting louder if temperature turn to low. Breakfast You get the standard breakfast in 3 stars hotel. Acceptable but I think hotel can do better to provide more choices. Reduce the sugar in food such as desert, cake and yogurt.

We continually try to do our very best for all of our guests, but unfortunately, sometimes we do fail. We would like to make sure that we always change new bed sheets and pillow case for new guest, however we apologize that it was our laundry vendor problem. We also apologize for the noisy air conditioner sound. We have coordinated and taken further acton regarding this case. In addition, the cleanser we provide is a 3in1 body wash, included for shampoo as well. Sincerest thanks for your feedback that will help us greatly to continue improving our hotel operations. We have taken a very good note of all your comments and rest assured that we have initiated an appropriate corrective action since we have to improve our daily operation as we strive to exceed all of guest expectations. Great location
Prior to check out night before, told front office to prepare takeaway breakfast as early flight. Upon check out, breakfast was not prepared.

Aircon in d room not strong enough to bring down the room temperature. Mattress was not good. Hard to sleep after Long Day shopping! Breakfast spread very good!

Overall is good.
The room is spacious comea with king bed. The breakfast is good. There are chinese hawker stalls located at the back alley of the hotel which can be accessed by hotel back door. The chicken porridge hawker stall operated at night time is delicious but expensive.
