Funky hotel with lots of rock memorabilia. Free breakfast, wine and beer was appreciated, free laundromat and sweets likewise. Slightly noisy in our first floor room from traffic on a busy street outside. Blinds did not work in our room so we were transferred to another one which turned out to be somewhat smaller. All members of staff were extremely polite and friendly.

Great location, modern comfortable room with excellent bathroom. Restaurants and bar look inviting but we didn't have time to try them this trip. Secure parking a 5 min walk off site.

Close to amenities and transport. Covered parking was across the road and reasonably priced. Hotel amenities were fantastic. Would stay again and recommend to others.

This was my first stay at the Ovolo South Yarra, I have since stayed at this property again, as well as another Ovolo hotel in Brisbane - which should tell you all you need to know. Friendly staff, convenient location, great amenities. You get your money's worth for a clean and comfortable hotel. Modern and well designed, Ovolo suited my needs. The room service is useful if you're too tired too go out, but you are spoilt for choice in the surrounding area and can eat better for less. Have and would stay again!

This hotel is in a great location. Area is amazing to get great food, do some shopping and walk around. Train station is also nearby. Hotel staff is very nice and friendly. The only thing I didn’t like is that there is no gym on site.

Overall the staff were lovely and the shared areas of the property were beautiful. I didn’t receive my VIP benefits in room, the quilt had some stains on it, there was no robe, slippers or tote bag in the room despite them being included on the price list within the room.

Quirky cool hotel, super friendly lobby staff - The place was decorated for Taylor Swift with a friendship bracelet making station & props which was a cute. Go Snug room is snug (as described) but perfect for one! Very easy to walk to South Yarra Train station.

The most warm welcome. My sister and I stayed for a couple of nights and the staff were beyond accommodating. The hotel itself was in a great location and had a fun vibe. Would definitely stay there again and again.

Great location. Rooms are great but could do with some maintenance. Moved rooms as our first room had a waterlogged carpet as you walked in. The second room we were given had a broken toilet seat. Reception was advised but it never got fixed while we were there. Otherwise a great stay and very comfortable.

We thought our stay was convenient to the tram stop out the front which takes you to the CBD. Loved the free mini bar and free lolly bar..not much comes for free these days, we thought there was a catch but not all good. Small rooms but everything is packed into that space and more than most bigger rooms we’ve stayed in and paid a lot more too. Definitely be back our new fav. Very quiet and comfortable room, free mini bar was great, water filter in room so good. Close to train station and tram stop out front. Walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Awesome decor and fun hotel I love the Ovolo chain
