Directly across the road from the transport hub so getting to and from the airport was a breeze at a cost of $23.90. Only stayed 1 night so didn't really have much interaction with staff but check in/out and room service was great.

Hotel is in front of the train and bus station which makes it really convenient. Coming out of the Melbourne airport (Tullamarine), just take the SKYBUS and arrive to the City terminal, walk out and the hotel is in front. The hotel is a boutique hotel with a vibe of the Great Gatsby. Rooms are beautiful, and close to Flinders Rail Station, also near to a Tram station.

The rooms are nice and have large windows. We've stayed here multiple times and always happy with the hotel. Some rooms need a little refresh though. Carpet renewed, grout scrubbed, but still really nice.

Receptionist was so attentive and helpful. Shout out to Connor who provided me with so much information we needed. Really beautiful, clean hotel. Rooms are a combo of mid-centrury modern and minimalistic. Seem to be renovated. I thought it was really lovely and it was right across (5 mins walk) from the station and the airport express bus.

Excellent hotel with great service
Check-In was super smooth. We arrived around 11:30pm and had no issues. The room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast also good with great service. Overall this hotel is excellent.

The property's history was very cool and beautiful. The bed was comfy. However, the service was mediocre at best. Our room was not stocked well or replaced when cleaned. We had to keep asking for things. The shower is the smallest I've ever seen with a half wall no door - water went everywhere. We stayed in other hotel chains along the way in our 2 week Aussie adventure and all out did this hotel including Holiday Inn Exp Adelaide. The breakfast is the same every single day and blah with the staff a bit stuffy to you. Most hotels we visited were cheery but not this one.

We loved The Savoy. It was a fantastic motel. The room was big, clean and well maintained. The staff could not have been more helpful. The location was amazing. We caught public transport trams and trains easily. There were lovely places to eat nearby. We will definitely be staying at The Savoy again!

Wonderful small hotel in Melbourne CBD. Rooms are large and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. The staff was attentive and very helpful. Across the street from Southern Cross Station and one block to Sky Bus station for transportation to/from Melbourne airport. With free use of public transportation within the CBD, landmarks, attractions, and restaurants are easily accessible when not within walking distance. Great stay.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff all friendly and accommodating. The area around is quite busy but in a perfect location. A few things to note, the quality of the room clean wasn’t the best and I don’t believe we got the best deal on parking and could have got this cheaper paying directly, lesson learnt on my part. Overall I think this is a lovely hotel and would stay again!

The TV was limited It would be preferable to have in house movies included and a swimming pool on site

Small things can be a BIG problem
As always, we found the Air-con very user UN-friendly & not having a room compendium or a room service menu very difficult for people of our age. WE ALSO CANT UNDERSTAND why the $50 dep is not subtracted from our account and takes over 1 week to be refunded. We have stayed there many times but not any more. Simply because of the above reasons

Lovely place to stay, the food was fantastic and the staff were excellent and I must give special mention of staff of the Alexander Bar in particular Gerard what wonderful service he did provide.
