I would agree that this hotel is cheap but its not worth the sacrifice. The room was dirty. Hair, sticky floors and a stink you would not forget. Horrible

The guy at the front desk was very rude. We didn’t have batteries in our smoke detector, not one towel, toilet clogged after using it (#1) once, steps very broken, and no fire extinguisher. Also a lady came in that requested the first floor because she had a service dog that neither her or him could walk up stairs; he gave her a 3 floor with no other option or care to accommodate her. -100/10 would not recommend to a friend

You must have $50 cash deposit when you check into the hotel and after they check the room when you leave it will be returned to you. This property is very old and needs much repairs... It is satisfactory for a one-night stay if you are on a very tight budget. However please note that the other hotels opposite this one only cost a little more and they are a much better condition. It is better than sleeping on the street, the homeless shelter, or in your 🚗 car since at least you can 🚿 here.

Not worth even 20 bucks
The place was scary for sure. Debris EVERYWHERE outside as they were remodeling, but made no effort to hide the trash. There were broken toilet seats and glass and literal trash scattered all over the premesis. The pool water was green. There were 3 roaches in my hotel. They didnt give me any towels or soap. The walls were thin that i could hear the neighbors all night. The top lock was broken, so i only had the 1 lock. There were stains and holes everywhere. I only stayed there because i was solo and had no other option except for my car, and i am not from this state. The tv and microwave were broken and i wasnt informed of that until i got there. When i booked online it said id have those things. I wish i had taken more pictures, but i didnt know id get the chance to review this place. This is all i took, but i promise, it is way worse than the pictures look. Spend your money elsewhere.

Roach infested horrible hotel! Stay away!
Horrible Hotel! First under construction and rooms are roach infested. Not only that… they force you to put a $50 CASH deposit. No credit or debit. Had to leave immediately to another hotel. Be warned.

No wash cloths only 2 body towels...crazy!
Horrible experience. No working tv or microwave. Customer service went to voice-mail when trying to get refund due to it being night. The pool was green and there was trash and debris everywhere from renovating which they need to hurry up and do...will never ever ever ever ever go back.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel.the beds were dirty,there were roaches everywhere,the t.v.didnt work,the bathroom was disgusting,they left urine on the toilet seat.The front desk clerk was RUDE!!! I didn't get my license back,the clerk then claims she didn't see it..I also asked for a refund, I couldn't not get it back according to the clerk.,Hotel.com should remove this listing..it is very misleading and once you book,there is no chance for a refund

Rude guy at the reception. He wouldn’t accept my deposit payment by card (a weird hotel policy of course, insisting on cash payments), but the guy was so unprofessional. He communicates that weird policy while looking down. He tells me he won’t check me in and tells me, to go ask my booking agent for a refund. The booking agent (Expedia) has of course refused to refund my money. Why? Because OYO Hotel refused to release the money I paid for services they did NOT provide. Yet Expedia’s website (the booking page) does NOT warn clients that only cash payments will be accepted at check in for the mandatory security deposit. What does a guest do if he arrives at the hotel in the night, like I did, and has no access to any cash? And what business is this that absolutely doesn’t accept card payments, even at a fee, while they do not pre-warn their customers before they pre-pay for their accommodation. Expedia and OYO Hotel will always owe me my money until they refund me.

ROACHES! Cabinet doors falling off, bathtub dirty with pubic hair in it. No working TV. Hotel is being renovated and there are boxes everywhere. Of course the staff has the worst attitude. You must sign a waiver accepting your room AS IS NO REFUND for deposit if you don’t like how you find it. AC doesn’t blow cold air. Overall, only okay to use if you need a bed to sleep on.

While it can be understood that the place is undergoing renovations, the accommodations are much smaller than advertised. Also, some of the bathrooms do not have functioning showers. Some of our electrical outlets, while designed to have certain safety features, had those features ripped out. Also our air unit had no protective cover for the fan and it's internal mechanisms, which is very dangerous. Until notable renovations have been completed, I advise a stay elsewhere.

Never have I ever stay at an establishment that makes you rent the remote for the tv... also, the deposit had to be cash and not credit card. There weren't proper basic essentials such as a wash cloth for guests. This place is horrible. I would have used my points somewhere else if i knew this was below standards.

Worse than third world countries I've been to.
Was not the room I payed for and got worse from there. No toilet paper. No wash clothes or hand towels. No TV. Door hanging off hinge All broken with no door knob. No microwave. Roaches everywhere. No door stop or seal under front door.. a/c had no cover and looked like it had not been cleaned in 20yrs.. and it goes on

The employees were nice and that is about it. This place is a scam. You are quoted one price and pay for it upfront and they tell you the room you selected is not available and have to pay the difference in what is available. I was told I couldn't use my credit card to pay the difference it had to be in cash and they needed a $50 cash deposit. That deposit is refunded. Front desk inspects your room at check out. I'm not sure what they are looking for because the room was trash already. No blankets on the bed, dirty, bugs, tv does not work, no ice machine, no vending machine, door to bathroom was missing, no fire alarm, no pool. I've stayed at older motels before. This isn't just older it isn't cared for at all.

This hotel was very shabby, due to the renovations. The room had no TV connection or microwave. The bathroom had not toilet paper, and the shower had no curtain and was very dirty. The beds had no blanket or comforter. The sheet that was on it appeared to be still dirty. It was bad enough that I decided to go elsewhere and even not argue what I paid, I just wanted to get out! I do not recommend this hotel at all!

I never stayed at the property. I had a non-refundable reservation, but when I tried to check in, I was told that there was no Wi-Fi and because the were remodeling, I wouldn’t have a refrigerator or microwave. On top of that, I had to pay an additional $14.50 per night above what my reservation specified and it had to be paid in cash and I had to have the exact change! Seemed like a scam to me, so I did not check in and left to find another hotel.

The bloke started to check me in when some other people came, he ignored me and checked them in, i waited about 20 minutes for him to do that and get back to me, after he checked me in i asked what time pool opens, he said 11am, i was on the 3rd floor i asked for the elevator, he said just around the corner, around the corner i saw empty pool and it looked disgusting and also elevator didnt work

The slums
The nastiest place i have ever seen. No blankets or pillows on bed. Roaches climbing on walls. Room looked like a storage closet. No cable. Pool had feces and trash in it. Garbage everywhere. Looks like the slums. Staff is hostile and tries to charge you more cash when you arrive because price listed on air is not correct. Would not let my dog stay here. Waiting on refund. Hotel looks nothing like pictures

The AC didn’t work and we are in Mobile where it was 108. The TV didn’t work. The front desk person was sleep when I showed up to check in. This is like the projects of hotels. Oh and u can’t get a refund.

We didn't stay . I tried to cancel the reservation but the lady at the desk just gave me a number to call , I tried to call but got robo instead and said the hell with it . I do not recommend ever staying at this hotel.
