When we checked in and got to our room, there were no towels or wash cloths. I had to use Whatsapp to connect with the front desk. They did bring some towels. The phone in my room didn't work. Overall, the dining staff were friendly especially Lisa and Lindon who works in the Wine Bar. Overall, the property is very outdated and needs a lot of work.

First solo trip ever! The property has a real island feel to it. Corridors are open to the elements. The exterior where the ocean is, is gorgeous. It does look like the pic. It's why I chose it. Might be described as dated but that's part of the charm to me. My room was spotless and super comfy. AC hit every time. The knob on the shower fell off. I put it back and it was fine. The drain was clogged. I had to shower quickly or it would overflow. The door did not have a chain on it which I did not like but I still felt safe and never had a problem. The women appeared angry all the time. Everywhere! Don't expect service with a smile most times. The men were respectful during my stay. A couple of men outside the property might hit on you but they're harmless. If you're 420-friendly no need to worry. All you have to do is ask. It's everywhere! They don't offer much in terms of excursions. They do offer a 3-hour shopping trip to some areas around the island with Devon for $25. Best time I had! Please tip him well. He is worth every penny. The food offered is typical in the Caribbean. The menu is terribly limited. Typical breakfast in the main dining area would include Salt fish, Callaloo/Caggage, Porridge, Yams, Sweet potato, and corned beef. I'm P.R. so no stranger to these meals. Whatever I had was good. They do offer French toast/Pancakes, and BYO omelet. Alcohol is the WORST! Don't bother unless you're drinking Rum Punch the entire time. Overall, It was a good time!

I enjoyed the private beach, food options, talking with other guests, proximity to public beach and other areas of interest, old fashioned feeling with a modernized touch. My television did not work properly and the internet option is unsafe a d impractical, a beautiful resort offering substandard wifi is a disappointment. I would like to see improvement in the area of communication between staff for a better outcome for guests. Overall, I would definitely recommend SeaGarden Resort and plan to return soon.

The resort itself is smaller than others we have travelled to. There were some renovations going on and a fair bit of space that was unused. It wasn't a busy time of year, so the engagement in the entertainment might have been a bit lower than at other times. Though the staff were excellent. They went above and beyond when my son was stung by a jellyfish on an excursion, but mostly when we experienced significant problems due to Expedia itself. When looking for a stay in Jamaica I had simply typed in Jamaica when asked where I would like to travel to. Apparently that set the default airport to Kingston. I then searched for resorts and booked at SeaGarden in Montego Bay. When it came to booking flights then, the only flights were to Kingston. It was only once we flew to our destination we realized how far Kingston was from the resort and there was no way to get there other than take a very expensive, 3 hour cab ride to the resort. There were so many other problems caused by this and so much stress and anxiety added to our travel. This is to say, be careful! Expedia apparently sees no problem in offering resorts for all inclusive packages that are no where near the airport you are forced to select first. Not knowing the country you are traveling to, how big it is, how many airports there are, and what shuttles the resort might provide, we were at the mercy of Expedia to offer appropriate packages. Apparently they do no such thing and then blame the customer for the mistake.

We stayed at 2 resorts while in Jamacia and although they were two different price points (sandals Montego bay) the Seagarden had the most Jamaica feel to it!! The food was great, beach location was amazing. We did have to wait an hour and a half to check in to our room but we just made sure to have our swimsuts on and ready so that we could hit the beach bar and swim in the meantime! Overall a FANTASTIC experience:)

I gave this property an overall 1 star because I was asked to move from my 1st floor room to the 4th floor with no elevator after having drinks at 10:30 pm I complained to the front desk and they moved me to the 3rd floor with no balcony I complained again to the front desk and was then moved into a room on the second floor day 1. I asked if my room could be decorated for my fiancé birthday before we headed out for an excursion so the staff knew that we would be off the property for a few hours it was then my Versace sunglasses were stolen out of the case in my book bag a report to the front desk was made and I was told they were gonna review the issue and nothing happened I’m more disappointed that they were looking through my belongings because my sunglasses were in a case inside of my bag not out laying around waiting to be stolen

Check in was a disaster. We arrived past 6pm, spent forever at the check in counter despite no line (was she stoned or just excruciatingly slow?). Once we finally arrived at the room, we had one towel (yes, precisely one towel - no face towels, etc.), we had no soap, no shampoo, no conditioner, and no toilet paper. With no staff in sight, I managed to find a janitorial closet and scavenge some toilet paper myself. The soap was sourced from an errant waiter who seemed surprised to see another human. Given the above, we weren’t sure whether the bed was made, so we asked at the front desk and were told someone would come up. Nobody ever showed. So we took our chances on the bed and resolved to take a thorough shower the next morning. Food wasn’t great, but our expectations were low in that category to begin with, although it would have been nice to experience at least one redeeming factor. No such luck. Oh well, will definitely avoid this place down the line.

My stay at the Sea Gardens hotel was awesome, The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable. I would go back to the garden. Anytime, And I would gladly recommend sea Garden to anyone thanks again.

Served the same food daily. ONE dinning option. So staff were aggressive and rude. The resort is in the path of the airport so while on the beach you constantly have fuel fumes. For a four star resort it functions like a one star.

The property was very clean, food selections daily was very good. My experience with most of the staff was very good. Just a bad experience by burger hut with a staff, her attitude was very nasty. But overall its a beautiful well kept property.

Loved that the beach was right across the property, and the beach was well maintained the equipment needs repairs. The bell man (Delroy) was amazing after carrying our bags up 3 flights he noticed my wife found it difficulty to walk up he went back down and found us a room on a lower floor. the man cooking the eggs at breakfast always had a frown and kept looking at the tip basket very unfriendly.

This property not enough food selection closes down at midnight. Limited choices of drinking soda juice and alcohol is cheap liquor and not any choices . There only 1 pool and the rooms woke up floor had ants requested that room be sprayed not done . Staff keeps coming to your room when not requested like they looking thru your thugs. there no safe in room . This low budget resort, old needs fixing up. Rooms kept clean , not set up for people with disabilities if you have one . not kid friendly

After visiting large resorts, this was a very nice small resort to just lay back and enjoy Jamaica’s beauty. The beach and sunsets are breathtaking. The food was authentic and delicious. The drinks were great. All the staff we encountered were welcoming and helpful.

The property was very nice. The lawn and shrubs were well maintained. Some of the dining room staff were very pleasant while others were rude and require additional training. The beach staff handing out towels was very rude. The entertainment was enjoyable. Front desk staff needs more training. The music was very very loud by the pool. My room was overlooking this area and I could not go to sleep in peace. Every nite was the same thing. The music was also very very loud on the beach. The food could be better and the dining room was very hot , no AC. This hotel is not for older folks . It’s too loud.

Room flooded, they took no urgency. House keeping was horrible. Most days, nothing was changed, not even the towels. Dining options weren't many and didn't change much on a day to day basis. I know this wasn't a top notch resort but it also wasn't a bottom dollar one either
