“Excellent oasis”

Staff was warm, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel appearance was impressive and vey clean. It even smelled fresh and clean when we entered to register. The breakfast was above average. The pool area was well designed and away from rooms, so you couldn't locate it by smell!

“Great Stay”

Nice hotel. Clean, quiet, very friendly staff. Good breakfast with some hot foods. Cookies/coffee available in the evening. Comfortable bed. Room a little small but was ok for three of us. Having an area with a sink/mirror that was separate from the bathroom was nice. Also had a frig which was helpful. Great stay, would stay again.

This hotel was nice. The room was clean and the staff was excellent. We lost the key to our motorcycle and the staff even helped to look for it. When it was time to check out and we had to wait for a locksmith, they offered to extend a late checkout. We were very impressed.

“Best Guest Service”

We were treated so fantastic by the staff, especially a girl named Erin. They bent over backwards to make us comfortable and to find out any kind of information we needed. The beds were sooo comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

“Montrose CO Holiday Inn Express”

Very comfortable bed and nice amenities in mini-suite. Kind and helpful staff. Nice Continental breakfast every morning. Had to extend my second stay twice, and had no trouble doing so. Only downgrades IMHO were: 1. High speed Internet access not so high speed. I am an engineer and rely on the Internet quite a bit/ The free service was pretty slow for the most part. 2. Needed to have another chair put in my room because the one provided was not very comfortable for sitting at laptop for long hours. 3. TV was equivalent to basic cable and had limited channel selections unless one wanted to pay to see movies or play games. 4. Microwave had mechanical timer instead of electronic, so it was hard to time usage under about 45 seconds. Except for the Internet, these I consider to be minor, but mention for completeness. The friendliness of the staff makes up for a lot.

“Absolutely LOVE it!”

They went above and beyond to meet my needs! I needed access to a microwave/refrigerator due to special diet needs if it was possible - and they upgraded my room so I could have both (at no additional charge!). The young lady who checked me in was so pleasant & respectful, and made me feel like I was the only person staying in the hotel. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the lobby area was well cared for and the staff was TERRIFIC! I was very impressed, and will stay there every time I get the chance!

“fine basic motel”

The room was clean and a decent size. The only drawback was aesthetics. The bed faced a white wall that was completely blank except for a lamp mounted on the wall. The TV was on a cabinet to the left, across from the dining table area. The view from the window was the plain concrete back wall of a Safeway store. You could not see one green thing unless you walked up to the window and looked down to one side or the other.

Extremely satisfied with both our room and the services provided. Ryan (who checked us in) couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. Much appreciated after a long day of travel. There's a man in the right job! Thanks for being there.

“Hometown Visit”

We found it comfortable and clean so it met our two prerequisites for staying. Priced like most Holiday Inn Expresses we've used...above average for the area. Very friendly and helpful staff; nice breakfast bar. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
