" I received email from manager that hotel is closed ( day before staying in hotel) due to some government issues and got directed to other hotel . Even though Chitra was helpful it wasn’t hotel I would chose and it added stress to my 32 hrs flight not knowing exactly where I’m staying ."

The hotel even provided us with complimentary breakfast on the first day since they felt that we came early in the morning and might not be able to go out for breakfast in time. Really nice of them! The place had a very large living space with a well-stocked kitchen and utensils. Will definitely recommend this place. The communication from the hotel was also very clear and the location markers...

"Lovely location and we enjoying visiting this beautiful colonial beach hotel however we were charged twice for drinks consumed in the lobby and moved to the terrace area despite explaining to the staff at the time and showing my receipts. Be careful and double check your statements as they take your bank card and disappear with it. They don’t need a pin or a signature to take money out. Shocking! "

"Decent sized double room with AC and en suite bathroom. Meals, fruit and cups of tea and coffee provided. Friendly host who advised of the best way to get about without spending a lot and also made sandwiches to pack for travel. Location is south of the city, near the beach and 5 min walk from main railway line to Galle. There is a rooftop with views of the city skyline. Excellent value for money. Many thanks Harshi."
