I have stayed here for many years and it is usually great. This trip was a disappointment. None of the hot tubs were working and they were cold. The outdoor pool was shut down one day due to maintenance. As a family with children it was disappointing to pay so much and everything be closed.

To begin I have to say the property is big and quite interesting , l had there own icream shop and Starbucks , they have plenty of staff that is always helpful , however you may discover a huge difference in the stay experience ,this is because they have at least 4 different options to choose ,we have first booked to stay in the Jamaican building which is very ran down currently under construction on the exterior , and I wouldn’t recommend is more of a motel experience , however we did upgrade to stay at the Dominican building and it was a huge improvement from what we first experienced , only downside there was rooms did have carpet which at first you get the wet sand smell from them which is almost hard to not have from what we experienced , while staying at the beach in the past years , it does seem that the other buildings are also good to stay speaking with other visitors, I got the idea that mostly everyone was satisfied with the stay , and yes dont forget the nice restaurant at the property , right on the beach which is beautiful , I do have to add Expedia support agents where every helpful with the upgrade!!

The hotel has 3 building main one is nice and update. Dominican is a run down motel And Jamaican building is also run down motel. We initially got oceanfront Dominican room. The room toilet wiggle and there is a huge wall patch that they left unpainted. They moved us to the Jamaican room motel also a oceanfront. Room seems clean but sheets are questionable. This is a motel not a hotel. So $200 plus a night is expensive. Of course if you are willing to spend a whole day getting sucker into their timeshare then you might get an upgrade to the main building room which looks clean and updated. Overall not recommended otherwise choose another motel in your price range.
