“Nairobi's Jewel”
I thought this was an excellent hotel. I was particularly impressed by the courteous service throughout the hotel. The hotel restaurant was particularly good providing a great service and excellent food. I would particularly recommend this hotel.

Although only 1 night stay, extremely satisfied with the hotel, cleanliness, courteous and helpful staff, good meals.
“Friendly staff, pls refurbish”
I spent 4 nights at the Serena and overall had a positive stay. I would have liked to see more and better choices of restaurants. Breakfast buffet was complete but dull. The location of the hotel I found to be v. Good and the grounds around welcoming. The time has definitely come for a total make-over of the whole place.
“Noisy”
The transportation to and from the hotel is a bit higher then what should be. The rooms are not so quite and early morning as soon the rooms are free they start to with the cleaning making a lot of noise as well. No flexibility in case you what to make late checkout . Breakfast buffet is good. The price do not justify the quality.
“Far too expensive”
It is a nice hotel, with a great service 'attitude' among the staff, but the prices - for both the rooms and the amenities - are way out of whack.
