A 10-acre fitness complex includes a thatched-roof health spa featuring a room containing a two-person spa tub for couples' herb-and-mineral baths and other rooms for massage, body wraps and scrubs, waxing, and facials. Couples Swept Away's air-conditioned beauty salon offers hair braiding, hair and nail care, and hot-towel shaves for men (surcharges for all spa and beauty services). Hair braiding is also available on the beach. A private beach with direct access from the property, sun loungers or chaise longues, beach towels, as well as 2 outdoor tennis courts are available to guests.
Couples Swept Away All Inclusive also includes a lap pool, jogging track, tennis courts, air-conditioned squash and racquetball courts, a basketball court, fitness center, exercise room, and locker rooms with saunas and steam rooms.

Couples Swept Away offers 312 Caribbean-style suites. All suites feature verandas furnished like open-air living rooms and equipped with ceiling fans, reading lights, and roll-down canvas curtains for privacy and rain protection.
Crown moldings, trim, and beds are wood; floors are terra-cotta tile. Bedding, including cotton comforters (bedspreads) and lounging pillows, is all white, and showers or shower/tub combinations feature white terry-cloth curtains. Some suites offer floor-to-ceiling screened, wood-louvered windows; others offer French doors that open to verandas.

The Palms - Expansive, open-air restaurant under two-story slanted-wood roof, with ceiling fans, cushioned rattan chairs. Breakfast, lunch buffets daily. Sea Grape Café - Seaside cafe serving fresh fruits, vegetable juices, pita sandwiches, vegetarian dishes, and healthy appetizers. Open until early evening.
Cabana Grill - Located next to the beach, this grill offers a variety of sandwiches, salads, jerk chicken, and casual food choices. Open for late-night snacking. Open from mid-morning through the late-evening and morning hours.
Patois Patio - Overlooking the ocean, this venue offers à la carte breakfast and an unusual combination of Caribbean- and Latin-flavored dishes for dinner.

The resort's 547-meter (1,500-foot) beachfront leads to sandy-bottomed water that remains calm in most weather conditions. Direct access to the beach, sun loungers or chaise longues are available to guests. Recreational alternatives to the Caribbean Sea can be found in the large freeform pool (with cushioned lounge chairs), pool with swimup bar, five-person spa tub, 10-person beachside spa tub, and the surrounding luxuriant gardens which offer spots for fragrant quiet.
Water skiing, kayaking, windsurfing, and sailing are all available. The resort also offers snorkeling on-site as well as snorkeling trips which leave by boat 2–3 times daily. Completion of resort courses in scuba diving allows guests new to the sport to take one-tank dives. Those already fully certified can enjoy two-tank dive trips. (Full scuba diving certification courses, night dives, and advanced dives are available for surcharges). Independent operators on the beach charge for personal watercraft and parasailing.
Across the road from the resort's beachfront area, a 10-acre fitness complex includes a 25-meter (27-yard), seven-lane lap pool; a 10-person spa tub on a raised platform shaded by trees; one-km (half-mile) jogging track; 10 lighted tennis courts (five hard-surface, five clay); two squash courts; two racquetball courts; and a basketball court. (Tennis, squash, and racquetball rackets are available.) The sports complex—in a series of turquoise buildings with red-tile and thatched roofs—features an open-air lobby and sports bar. Within the complex are a large fitness center with cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights; a large exercise room with polished floor and mirrored wall for classes such as aerobics, yoga, Pilates, and bosu ball; locker rooms with saunas and steam rooms; health spa; and air-conditioned beauty salon.
Roundtrip transportation and greens fees for Negril Hills Golf Club (clubs, carts, and mandatory caddy not included) 9 km (6 miles) away are provided.

“Serene and Clean.”
Hotel was VERY clean and detail oriented. The beach was beautiful and all rooms are close to shore. Excursions were well scheduled w/ many open available times and staff was very friendly and funny! The food was very yummy and was often accompanied by live music at one of the restaurants. Very fresh and unique to the Jamaican cuisine. Food and drinks are ALWAYS available. Beach is very safe... couples has security guards lining the beach front every so often.... always available if you need to get their attention. There's a bathroom on the beach that is surprisingly VERY clean! The lobby was beautiful and open... and was also decorated tastefully for the Holiday season w/ greenery, christmas trees and poinsettas... and a HUGE gingerbread house with jars of holiday cookies for visitors to help themselves to. Room service was always available... delivered to outside balcony upon request, in addition to mini bar service which was always restocked every day. I was in a garden view room, which is the smallest of the rooms, and it was huge. the bathroom was huge as well as the balcony. Loved it! Would highly recommend. Did I mention it's very clean?
“Couples Swept Away is a great get-a-way”
The Couples Swept Away Resort in Negril, Jamaica is superb in every way. They offer turn-down service in the evening. The room had a refrigerator with free drinks. Outside the bedroom was a verandah with a love seat, chair, table & ceiling fan ... and a view of huge plants shielded us from anyone walking by. All staff were very friendly.

“Fantastic Resort!! A+”
I did a lot of research before our trip on December 25th, and I am so happy we chose Couples Swept Away Negril! The facility is beautiful, well maintained, and the staff is so friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean,and the bed was comfortable for all 8 nights we were there. They have many great restaurants to choose from, so much so that we never left property except for one night to eat, and we agreed that we should have stayed at the resort! Our room was at the back of the resort, the furthest away from the beach and closest to the main road that runs behind the resort. Although we could hear cars, it wasn't much of a bother at all. Even though we were at the back, the walk to the beach was still less than a few hundred feet. The A/C was cool in the room and they cleaned it daily. The fitness and spa facility was amazing - daily aerobics classes, yoga, racquetball, squash, and a ton of tennis courts. There was always plenty to do - or if you choose, do nothing at all! Get out to the beach early to stake your claim of chairs and floaties, though. Nobody ever touched our stuff - we left a book out on the chair with our towels while we went back to eat breakfast. I cannot tell everyone enough about how safe it was - there was security all over the beach, and they did not allow the few people peddling their goods to come close to the hotel guests. I would go back here a million times over!!! Thank you Couples for an amazing vacation!
“Can't Wait to Return!!!”
We went to Couples Swept Away for our Honeymoon. I've traveled to Jamaica in the past and to many All Inclusive resorts. This overall experience was the best I've ever encountered. While the resort isn't as new as others, it was well maintained and very clean. Additionally, many inclusive properties will nickel and dime you to death over excursions and additional costs. At Swept Away however, there are daily snorkeling trips as well as a sunset cruise included with your stay. Additionally, all of the bars provide premium liquor, not just the local house brands. The staff is what really sets this resort apart. Everyone was incredibly accomodating, friendly and went out of their way to make personal connections with us during the stay. I think the true testament was that a majority of other guests we spoke with were recurring visitors to this resort. Several folks we met had been there in excess of 10 times.

Hotel experience was great. It started at the airport upon arrival where you were greeted by courteous smiling Couples staff. Offered a cold beer or soft drink. Checkin experience was very fluid. Entire staff was very helpful no matter what was required.
“A great timeout from the chaos!”
We were unsure about an all-inclusive, but found the food to be outstanding as well as a variety from the grill on the beach that has wonderful jerk chicken to upscale or casual dining in the evening. We loved our atrium verandah room with the hammock on the patio. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Many different options for activities. A private resort, but not completely secluded. You can chill the whole time or get involved. We were taking a timeout from a very busy schedule and three young children and found it to be just what we needed. We'd definitely return!

Beautiful beaches and lots of water sports to take advantage of. The food was great and the service was exceptional. Accommodations were romantic....definitley a great vacation for couples.

Perfectly postcard material for a true vacation! There is truly no words to describe this immaculate resort, the most awesome food, the over-the-top friendliness of the staff, the variety of entertainment or the fact that having been here 3 times is still not enough. Housekeeping, landscapers, restaurant staff, watersports personnel, bartenders, chefs, entertainers far exceed expectations every time. A request to future travelers though: the wonderful Swept Away people break their necks to please, speak to you and accommodate your every whim. Please return the courtesy by saying "hello" or "thank you". I saw some guests basically ignore the employees' efforts, without acknowledging they were even there. Thank you!!! We will be back again to our home away from home!
