“Superb as always”
The food is great and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. It was our third time there and we would go back!
“Good place to unwind”
At first sight, I thought this might be a little boring given how isolated the all inclusive hotel is from the surrounding locale. But then after a while I figured out that's the whole idea -- go to a nice hotel on a very nice beach, in a beautiful bay, where everything is paid for, and just forget the real world, relax and have fun. It does the trick. It was a great vacation for unwinding from work and a hectic schedule. If you want to spend a few days on the beach, then this is the place. The hotel is a nice beach hotel -- it's not the Ritz, but it's nice, and the staff is very friendly. Food is good, but since it's all inclusive, you may tend to eat too much. All drinks are free, all day and night. If you want to see some "local" culture, just walk down the beach and you'll soon run into several local stalls selling open fire roasted lobsters, T-shirts, wood carvings, and a few Jamaican guys with their world-renowned local herb (worth a try). Very laid back, very hedonistic, and fun.
“Great time.”
We had a very good time. Don't forget to bring your own cup to keep your drinks cool and also so you don't have to use the small bar plastic cups. Some nights the entertainment was very fun, fast paced, and exciting -- and even outright hilarious. However, the "lion king" night and some other night where bands played ragae were much more low key. If you decide to go off the resort, I would highly advise choosing what nights to stay in or travel outside the resort depending on what entertainment is on tap for the night. I don't have any complaints about our stay!
“Club Riu”
I had the best time of my life. The beach, resort itself , and especially the people made my visit a cherished one.
“Nice place to stay in Negril”
Excellent Service. Nice people.Great beach
“Best Value”
Great Hotel, Staff & Property Good food, drinks. Making Phone calls are very expensive, Lobby WiFi keeps breaking down. All Inclusive is the way to go. Not that many Good restaurant in Negril. Go to town is a Taxi ride that could be expensive, Like $20 a trip atleast. Too may Bug Bites
“Dream service = Dream vacation”
We had such an amazing time. The food was excellent! The service was too! All the extras were amazing...the shows, the beach parties, the poolside bash, everything. We will absolutley stay at a Riu as we search for our next vacation!
“Excellent Relaxing vacation”
We loved the Hotel. We were in building 2 overlooking the beach bar on the second floor.the room was clean, the food was always very goodand the people were wonderful. Everyone was always smiling and willing to help you in anyway they could. We have stayed at Sandals on the 7 mile beach and were just as happy with this resort. The beach was beautiful and always clean. You can enjoy the games of the day and watch the shows at night or just relax on the beach.
“Our best yet !”
Been doing the Carribean for 20 years and these people at the RIU Negril made this one of our best vacations so far.....Everything was perfect...
“Another RIU, Another Satisfied Customer!”
This is the 3rd different RIU Hotel my friends and I have stayed at for our annual vacation. What is consistent among all RIU's is the friendly employees and superior service. The bar and food service were exemplary, constant refreshing and cleaning of serving areas. The entertainment team works SO hard to make sure everyone is having a good time. Workers will accept & certainly appreciate tips, but they respond to polite, friendly guests above all. Can't wait to go to another RIU next year!
