“This is a PHENOMENAL hotel.”
We live in NYC, but when we had friends visit for a few days, our tiny apartment was simply not going to work. The Hotel Belleclaire was soooooo lovely I wish we could have stayed forever. Our guests were comfortable and the staff was very friendly. It's in a very good part of town, partially residential and partially trendy. Best of all, the Hotel Belleclaire is steps away from the 1 train, making it very close to anything you might possibly want to do in the city. It was simply perfect!
“Why stay anywhere else ????”
Classic uptown hotel. loved it. staff great. People in New York are friendly as. Internet a bit steep in price though,thats of course if you can find an internet cafe... all wi-fi so bring your mini lappy and the cigarettes are taxed like in Australia.. so close to metro and walking distance from Times Square. Ideal location and area. Awesome super markets close.
“Will Stay Here Again”
When considering this hotel, imagine an upscale European hostel. My room was clean and comfortable, although small. I shared a very clean bathroom with two other rooms, and it seemed as though I had a private bathroom. The price and location are unbeatable! I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to budget-conscious travelers.
“An oasis in the big apple!”
I love the Hotel Belleclaire (HB), this was my 2nd stay! The room (a deluxe King) was beautifully appointed and HUGE! The room was right on Broadway, so I had a great view of the snowfalls and people traffic. It is only 2 blocks from 79th St subway and 3 blocks from Central Park. I highly recommend HB.

“Not disappointed at all!”
I read reviewers' reviews before choosing this hotel and I'm not disappointed at all! The room is very well equipped (with small fridge, sink, iron, iron board and hair dryer). The bell boys and the receptionists are all very nice. 2 blocks to subway station. For shared type, one bathroom is shared exclusively with only 2 other rooom's guests.
“Friendly & Good value”
Good location, burned out light blub was replaced quickly. Clean, comfy bed, water really hot &/or cold, shower excellent. Need something ask at the desk, they help.

Other than a problem with the toilet, our visit was very nice.

Stayed in suite that sleeps 6. We were very comfortable. Grocery store and restaurants were in walking distance. Great location.
