This hotel is in a great location...close proximity to Theatre District, Times Square...Central Park...Don't confuse this place with the Parker Meridien (which I did) which had been next door, and was a higher end hotel. Now that space is the Thompson, and Le Meridien now occupies the space next door. It's an older, less hip hotel than the Parker Meridien was, but it was perfectly fine. This may be a NYC standard, but we got a $40 credit to spend in the cool lounge on some yummy drinks and snacks. The best part of this stay had to be be the service we received when we had realized a wallet had been left behind in the safe. We had been checked out of the hotel for a good 5
hours when we noticed the issue. My wife called and was promptly helped by Asimina Mitilineos who found the wallet and shipped it to us a few days later. That stuff matters. Also allowing us to leave our luggage with them after checkout for as long as we wanted also matters. Many NYC hotels are now charging for that service which seems crazy...
