I had stayed at this property several times when it was the old Milburn Hotel and found the renovations to be quite nice. The common areas are attractive and the rooms spacious and well laid out, with nice appointments, comfortable beds and. pillows. The upper west side location is great, with the subway nearby but the side streets off Broadway pleasant and quiet.

The area was great but the actual hotel wasn’t great. Customer service wasn’t great. We stayed for two nights and for the first night the hot water didn’t work. They couldn’t move us into another room because there was no availability. The second day the water was barely warm. I find a lack of hot water in a $500 a night room to be unacceptable.
