Located on 27 acres of lush Florida landscape, this 10-story resort is across the street from SeaWorld Orlando and adjacent to Discovery Cove. Transportation to SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica, and Universal Studios Orlando is complimentary, and is based on shuttle schedule.
An expansive lobby features a soaring 10-story atrium with contemporary oceanic decor. Arriving business travelers and vacationers are welcomed with a complimentary glass of champagne. Guests can dine at MIST Sushi and Spririts Bar, Boardwalk Sports Bar, and Tradewinds Restaurant. A full-service Starbucks coffee shop is located on the lobby level. Poolside fare, smoothies, and cocktails are available at the Palms Pool Bar & Grill.
The hotel's nèu lotus Spa, offers a full range of services and features 8,500 square feet spa facilities, 8 treatment rooms, secluded mani/pedi area, men and women's locker room, showers, sauna and steam rooms. A fitness center includes aerobic machines with their own TVs, exercycles, treadmills, and free weights. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day and is complimentary. The R Aqua Zone Water Park features water slides, blasting water jets, a water windmill, and a rain tree among other things. “Very pleased!”
Very nice, well kept, excellent staff. Restaurants were a bit pricey but service was excellent. Love the swimming pool and all their commodities. I would recommended to everyone.
“What more can I say than "Excellent and Superb"”
Everything that I wanted was there - excellent pool and very helpful pool attendants, open from 6.00 am, when I needed it - very comfortable room and bed - good TV selection - excellent shampoo - plentiful hot water - Starbucks franchise staff and offering were great - and the front desk staff were ever so helpful and very responsive - I really could not have asked for a better five nights in Orlando

“Four "Cs"-comfortable, clean, caring, and concern”
The hotel was very accommodating. All the hotel personnel was friendly and eager to assist you. The valet parking was excellent. The rooms were cleaned everyday and housekeeping made sure there were clean towels. The beds were comfortable, soft, and plenty of pillows. My entire family enjoyed the comfort of the hotel. I would definitely revisit this hotel whenever I am in Florida. My grandchildren had a wonderful time in the various pools.

We enjoyed the pool, fire pit, ping pong, restaurants, and all the decor. Staff was helpful and friendly. Great to be boe to walk to Sea World. We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

Very clean and friendly staff. We felt welcome from the second we got there. The room was very comfortable and the kids loved the pool and water park. The buffet was delicious and the service was excellent.

“We *WILL* Stay There Again”
We required a wheelchair-accessible room, which is what we received. However, the layout of the pull-out couch did not work well for getting around. We inquired about options with the front desk and with zero hassle upgraded us to a larger suite at no extra charge. The new room was fantastic and made the entire week much easier. Starting out every for breakfast at Tradewinds was a joy. The food was excellent and the staff was always friendly and responsive. The Tradewinds buffet was fantastic and made the breakfast buffet (at the hotel where we stayed the night half way home) look like a joke. Through a series of mishaps, we wound up having Thanksgiving dinner at Tradewinds. We would have been happy with basic Thanksgiving food, but they genuinely pulled out all the stops and had an *exceptional* Thanksgiving feast. Having the hotel so close to Sea World, Aquatica, Discovery Cove, and so many other parks was the cherry on top. I cannot stress enough how outstanding Renaissance Orlando Resort was. The staff, the cleanliness, the facilities.. etc.. The list goes on. The next time we travel down to Orlando, we already know we will stay at this hotel. They were outstanding in every way and I hope they have a chance to read every word of this well-earned review.

Great hotel. Staff were friendly, remembered who you were. The upkeep on the hotel was nice. Always, clean and maintained. Nice location for the most part. Getting around, you either need a car, or take a taxi.
